GPT-6-Astra MAX did such a great job on the rover's knuckle CAD design that i decided to give it a shot at the upper mounts for the steering actuators (damiao 4340p) this clip shows the details 🔥 Astra MAX ran for 2hrs this time; only burned 7% weekly usage

GPT-6-Astra has solved Onshape by PTC for me 😎 it's been building a robot using the sensors i've chosen; i simply dictate to codex what changes i want, and then watch in real-time while it makes them happen in CAD this is ridiculous lol btw that's me controlling the mouse & model views while codex works from the backend using a connector that it built

astra rover CAD update: we're now fully transitioned to fusion; no more onshape api calls to pay! astra worked for most of the day while i did other things to get the models and motion profiles setup. tonight we work on finishing the various details and sensor/compute layouts

WHOA this worked out way better than i had expected 😎 gave GPT-6-Astra MAX a laundry list of things that i didn't like abt the rover CAD design it worked for over 5.5 HOURS last night while i slept to make it happen burned 52% of a Pro 20x plan weekly limit; was it worth it?

Astra has been such a MASSIVE unlock for me with 3d CAD work watch here as it designs ACTUAL rover parts in onshape my prompt is included in the clip; i simply talk/guide it just like i would any design engineer that was working for me 😎
