In India, people buy a ₹25 lakh EV but avoid spending ₹40,000 on a proper home charging setup. An AEEE–Kazam study found that 45% of Indian households need electrical upgrades for safe EV charging. Without a proper charging setup, not just your home but even nearby homes could be sitting on a time bomb. A Mahindra BE6 owner visited Koncept Mahindra Bodyshop, Sector 18, Gurugram, after the sunroof was damaged and required replacement. Why are Ather and Bajaj Chetak better EV choices than the TVS iQube? Simple: No Hub Motor. TVS iQube uses a hub motor in the rear wheel. In case of a Rear tyre puncture, wheel removal can be more complicated due to the motor assembly. E20 Petrol Has a Bigger Problem Than Ethanol Customers may not even be getting the expected 80% petrol if existing storage tanks aren’t fully E20-compatible.
