One of my biggest pieces of advice? Find a reputable agent, and VET them. Ask questions. What do they expect from you as a performer? What should you expect from them as an agency? And are they actually able to connect you with the kind of work you're interested in? Getting representation isn't just about finding someone who wants to sign you.
