best vocal BGs of every gen: 2nd gen: Super Junior & Shinee/TVXQ 3rd gen: EXO & BTOB 4th gen: lowkey IDGAF but Mingyu (DKZ), Jongho, Keeho, Woobin & Xiaojun are good noteworthy vocalists 5th gen: ZEROBASEONE & Evnne (special mention to sohee & jaehee)

fun fact: currently AND2BLE's seungeon and hao are the only main vocal duo among all the male 4th/5th gen groups where they can consistently support up to G#4 in the mixed register & down to C3 in the lower register this feat was previously held by ZB1's taerae & zhang hao

ZEROBASEONE not being afraid of singing live without a backtrack — a thread

you dont see boygroups with vocal focused songs with encores as perfect as this anymore

if kpop was actually about talent this is what would've gone viral that day

ZB1s live performance btw they hit perfectly placed F4-Bb4 notes in chest mix and 5th octave falsetto notes and the bp2 guys had multitude of issues like improper larynx placement etc on top of being pitch corrected 90% 5th gen main vocalists dont even outdo zb1 lead vocalists

that is because all of the good vocalists among 5th gen bgs are in the same group

you ever be listening to a ZB1 song and suddenly here comes every single member going WOOWUWOUWHHAHHHH in your ears

ICONIK (Live Encore MR removed ver.)

ZEROBASEONE's Kim Taerae and Seok Matthew showcase their amazing raw vocals singing "Die With A Smile" on a live

ZEROBASEONE just had their very first performance together theyre debuting in 2 months what are you guys talking about?

and at the end of the day ZEROBASEONE ended their last cb with a music show grandslam and proved that their 5th gen best vocal group title has not and will not tip!

and2ble having 0 backtrack with live harmonies, ad libs, main vocalists hooting & hollering WELCOME BACK TVXQ AND SHINEE!

ZEROBASEONE won on this award show and suddenly had to sing an encore with no in ear and no backtrack and they still delivered live vocals FLAWLESSLY

At the ZB1 dinner table you aren't allowed to eat dessert till you finish your CDs

the most important murder that happened today is ZEROBASEONE absolutely killing their vocals in MCD encore 😂👋🏼

ZEROBASEONE is the only BG among current gens where BOTH main vocalists can sing 3rd octave low notes and high notes upto 5th octave while also being able to harmonize and beautifully effortlessly on-spot oh haorae we cannot lose a main vocalist duo like you

ricky has vocals like he has gone through 20 divorces
