So, I added procedural eye movement FOR PIXEL ART. No one will notice it, but I know it’s there.

Spent a couple of weeks on a system for smoothing rotations using micro-offsets of character parts. Was it worth it? #gamedev #unity

A few years ago I was broke and burned out. I made INMOST, my first indie game, hoping a few people might care. To date, 1.2 million have played it, and it completely changed my life. Today, it’s out on Android and iOS and I can’t express how important this journey has been to me

I feel like I’m doing something very strange and wrong, but it works. On the right is what I draw by hand. On the left is the result of the shader running on those masks. So every hat, shirt, etc -just a bunch of colors and numbers in the assets, and a reference to sprite library

I’m using a custom sprite-based lighting system, so I thought—what if I used particles instead of sprites? Now I just need to figure out why I’d even need that in the game 🤔 #unity3d #shadergraph #vfx #gamedev

Reworked rain. Now it is mostly a post-effect rather than particles #unity3d #shadergraph #vfx #gamedev

Good question. The post-effect part of the rain is split into three layers with different panning speeds. It’s not perfect in slow motion, but at full speed it looks good enough to me
