The Pakistan Army firmly believes in self-accountability. In line with its traditions, the armed forces maintain a rigorous, transparent accountability process executed without discrimination. This system operates strictly on concrete evidence rather than baseless allegations. Whenever rules are breached, this internal mechanism acts swiftly, ensuring anyone found guilty faces the full letter of military law. However, the context must be examined: What would you do if an aggressive mob cornered, shoved J tried to lynch your wife? Had this involved local police or politicians, the outcome would have been lethal. Yet, even in uniform and facing a violent crowd, this officer acted with extreme restraint. Instead of firing straight at the culprits to cause casualties, he only fired warning shots into the air to rescue his spouse.
