TBC and RTA have signed a contract to construct Dubai Loop. TBC would like to thank The Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan bin Mohammed and His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer and his team. The pilot system with 6.4 km of tunnel and 4 stations will begin construction in late 2026.

Big tunneling milestone! For the first time, TBC has continuously mined in a Zero-People-in-Tunnel (ZPIT) configuration. There is nobody in the machine (besides the videographer), which is simultaneously advancing forward and erecting a ring (i.e. building the tunnel). Each full ring weighs ~24,000 pounds. In the same way that full and rapid reusability is the holy grail for rockets, ZPIT continuous mining is the holy grail for Boring Machines. This is the safest, fastest, and least expensive architecture to build tunnels.

Prufrock-3 is ready to dig its 5th tunnel! In advance, the Monster passed its final tests, tilting the 480,000 lb shells ±10°. Prufrock-3 will then tilt down and mine directly into the ground - no concrete, no pit, zero civil prep. Allows rapid, safe and inexpensive launch.
