In 2025 alone, the Kuje Custodial Centre has produced 7 inmate graduates as part of its mandate to provide a conducive environment for learning and rehabilitation. Till date, it has produced 1 PhD and 6 Master degree holders. Also, 5 other degree holders are due for graduation this year. The centre has equally produced 45 undergraduates, with 95 inmates currently enrolled for NABTEB, as well as another 95 enrolled for NECO. It is impressive to see the private sector and the civil society organizations like the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) partner with the government to give a new lease of life to inmates.
