Using college stadiums to generate offseason revenue is pretty smart. Hard to get the truly huge acts to remote areas. Hotel situation is atrocious (Ocala 1k/night) but so many people live within 150min of Gainesville you can get big acts there because people can day trip it.

Got asked today on XM about Mateer’s improvement this offseason. I’m very high on Oklahoma but there is nothing he can show me this offseason that will make me think his vision is fixed because it’s what got him in trouble at Washington State and OU. Has to show on the field.

My FSU thoughts on last night in Miami on Cover 3 Podcast Bottom line: you played your A game, your rival played their C- game, and you lost because their C- is as good as your A because you suck at recruiting and developing players. Simple. Also hotseat thoughts.

It’s time for a new replay procedure. Given the amount of deference that is given to the on-field call and the standard of indisputable evidence to overturn, we need to have an option for refs to no call and go straight to replay if they truly were not able to see what happened

You could say Notre Dame hasn’t played anybody and I don’t totally disagree, but there is still signal in killing a bunch of nobodies. It’s a really good football team and they’re showing it.

IMPORTANT Outlined this on the Monday show, but the committee basically has to move Bama over Notre Dame tonight to prevent a situation where SECCG loser Bama gets bounced if BYU wins the Big 12 Here’s why:

Nobody had a worse day in a blowout win than Notre Dame, which saw the rest of its schedule and potential resume crumble Forget wins over ranked teams — Notre Dame probably won’t have a win over a single BOWL team from the P4 outside of USC

Conspiracy time. What if the NCAA is getting its ass kicked in the courts on purpose because it needed to be able to complain about rogue judges And an out-of-control system if the bill got through the Senate and into the House?

Look at this shit Critical 4th down Look how late the extra tackle in the tight end are out of their stance. I don’t think they knew the snap count. Jesus

Great reporting on this by Dan. I still think the LSU hiring process will be just fine because LSU is a job You really can’t screw up. I mean you get fired for going 7-5. But this FIRING process. Sheesh.

Nick Saban was so offended by guys trying to talk contract extensions before the playoff that he … advised Lane Kiffin to quit on his team embarking on a title run to take the LSU job. It’s always been a double standard with him. 🎙️

They make us pick every single team over under until Indiana, Oregon, and Ohio State stop losing to anybody else in the Big Ten except one another, It's hard to be blasting the unders on those teams. Indiana's portal class just fits like a glove. It's going to come down to QB

Hey Twitter, remember the “unnecessary roughness” call that changed the FSU-UF game and had Mike Norvell out to midfield to argue? The NCAA has already put it on a training video. 😘🤣 “I’m not sure what the center judge is doing here, this is not a foul”

Notre Dame is in AUTOMATICALLY starting in 2026 if they finish top-12 (would have bumped Miami this year even though Miami beat them) And man did they ever schedule 2026 with this new exemption in mind. Brilliant negotiating and scheduling.

If you had to pick a team to go from unranked to the top ten, who would you pick and why? I chose TCU. They are only a real underdog one time this year. If you get some bounces and some luck and some coin flip games, and you are better than I think you are, 11-1 is not probable, but it's possible.

Some BYU debate today on Cover 3 Podcast What would you make USC BYU on a neutral or Michigan BYU on a neutral? We all agree, though, that in the Big 12, BYU's formula can work extremely well, especially since they avoid Texas Tech.

Are y’all ready for 9-3 Texas to make the playoff? Cause you better believe 9-3 Texas is getting in even with this schedule.
