Listen up! Us Ranchers want you to have affordable beef. We currently have that if it comes directly off the farm and you pay the processing and the Rancher. At today’s prices that’s still around $8-&10/lb for everything! Including steak. That endures that WE has profit! Which we often struggle to get , thus so many ranches gone now. If the solution is importing cheap scrap cuts without a LABEL showing country of origin, then that is not a solution at all! That will drive more American family ranches out of business and you will eventually pay even higher prices for shity beef! I hope their solution only involves splitting up the big corporate packers and opening opportunities for family ranchers.🥩

This country needs a hell of a lot more like him! Btw, he got a 35 on his ACT so don’t stereotype farm kids and think we’re dumb hicks! My own 3 kids were just like this and most farm kids I know are over the top intelligent and also capable outside of the classroom! Farm tough 🦾🇺🇸

FYI!!! “The death of the American beef industry”?? NO!! Absolutely NOT! Ivermectin treats screw worm for one thing. We’ve beat it before and we will again. These fear mongering people need to sit down! They forgot one thing. The American Rancher!! We check and care for our herds! Screw worm only get in an open wound or a new calf navel. They don’t just eat flesh without an injury. We will monitor, treat and move on! CALM DOWN!!!

Ranches across this country do this similar thing all summer long. Getting beef to the table is probably one of the longest processes of food production. It requires long term planning and work! Yep! Just look at what happens if you plant crops into what’s been in pasture for decades. It’s unbelievable the output that produces. I don’t do this very often but every once in awhile we break up and then reseed. Same as a hay field. Bottom line is that grazing cattle are an environmental benefit!

Unfortunately tonight many of us cattle people feel like we’re about to go down with the ship Secretary. The fairly obvious pending situation with Argentina and beef imports is as deadly to the family Rancher as the Gail’s of November were to the Fitz. I wonder how many politicians shorted the cattle market rn?? Will be interesting to see the data on how much insiders make on this deal my friends!

Breaking News‼️‼️‼️ There will be No ranches closing because of weather this weekend. Guys like Peanut , myself and all the others will get up and get out and do what needs doing. Chop ice, feed animals, struggle with equipment in sub zero temps. Basically whatever tf it takes to keep as many animals alive as possible at the expense of their own comfort. Please keep them all in mind when you put that $6 grnd beef in that hot pot of chili this weekend.🇺🇸

I mean diesel is $5/ gal. 4 gal of diesel doesn’t go far when you’re trying to manage a cattle herd and get calves from birth to a plate! That’s just one cost. Believe me there’s many more. Don’t ever try to figure labor!! Or worse, potential income from labor you could make if not raising cattle! It’s not as cut and dried as saying beef is too high! What’s a latte now at Starbucks? What’s the price comparison of the nutritional value?!

Well boxed beef was UP AGAIN today. Fats were down again today. The quickest way to mitigate it all is to find a local rancher and buy directly from them. It’s logistically tough in places but the more we can do that then the better off our country will be. 🥩🥩🇺🇸

Ask yourselves why would a 7 term elderly lady “republican”, who votes democrat over half the time, spend 3/4 of a million dollars on a primary race in rural IL?? Her biggest donors include Dems and the teacher union! If you vote in the IL 94th I’d encourage you to throw her out and vote for Josh Higgins! Air Force veteran who will NOT vote with the Dems!
