BREAKING: Goldman Sachs names Elon Musk’s Terafab as a major new driver of chip-equipment growth. Goldman included Terafab’s roughly $16.8B first-phase buildout in its Logic & Other forecast and says the project accounts for most of the added growth in this segment. Goldman believes Terafab’s impact is still in its early stages, with room for further forecast increases as later phases move forward. Goldman raised its global wafer-fabrication equipment forecasts to: • $150.3B in 2026, up 36% YoY • $217.5B in 2027, up 45% • $280.9B in 2028, up 29% The firm says growing AI demand is driving higher spending across DRAM, foundry and logic chips.

ELON MUSK: All the fabs on Earth combined are only 2% of what Terafab needs. “If you add up all the fabs on Earth combined, they’re only about 2% of what we need for the Terafab project. We’re very grateful to Samsung, TSMC and others. We would like them to expand as quickly as they can, and we will buy all of their chips. There’s a maximum rate at which they’re comfortable expanding, but that rate is much less than we would like. So we’re going to build Terafab. The key missing ingredient is a terawatt of compute. That’s why we are building Terafab.”

ELON MUSK: "If you've got humanoid robots that have very high dexterity and are incredibly smart, it means that everyone on earth will have access to better medical care, than the richest person on Earth. I had to have like a neck surgery three times because the first two ones were done wrong. Back pain may be one of the things that it eliminates. Average happiness level for humans would just go upstream tremendously."

THE ELON EFFECT: Terafab is already attracting more companies to Texas’ Brazos Valley. 🇺🇸 The Greater Brazos Partnership says other companies have started calling since Terafab was announced, hoping to join the region’s growth. Local leaders estimate Terafab will account for roughly 15% of the region’s total growth over the next decade. Texas A&M expects at least 50 students to begin its new master’s program in microelectronics and semiconductors this year. This is the Elon effect. Terafab will help America manufacture advanced AI chips at home for use on Earth and in space. As Greater Brazos Partnership CEO Tom Johnson said: “This is a winner.”

ELON MUSK: “The reason I went so hardcore for Trump was because, to me, this was a fork in the road. If they had another four years, they would legalize enough illegals in the swing states to make the swing states not swing states, they would be blue states. Then they would win the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. And then they will keep importing more illegals to cement that outcome. Basically what happened in California. It would have been the end. That's why I went so hardcore for Trump. I invite people to do their research. ELON MUSK: SpaceX will build a mass driver on the moon. "If you want to go beyond a mere terawatt per year, you have to go to the moon. So by having factories on the moon, building AI satellites and having a mass driver, which is the kind of thing you really need to learn about in read about in science fiction, but we're going to make it real. We're actually going to have a mass driver on the moon. And if you do that, you can go several orders of magnitude greater. You can go to 1000 gigawatts or more per year, and ultimately get to maybe a millionth, and then a 1,000th and maybe even a few percent of the sun's energy. I really want to see the mass driver on the moon that is shooting AI satellites into deep space just go like just one after the other. I can't imagine anything more epic than a mass driver on the moon and a self sustaining city on the moon, and then going beyond the moon to Mars, going throughout our solar system, and ultimately, being out there among the stars and visiting all these star systems, maybe we'll meet aliens. Maybe we'll meet see some civilizations that lasted for millions of years, and we'll find the remnants of ancient alien civilizations. But the only way we're going to do that, do that, do that is if we go out there and we explore, and this is the path to making it happen."

🚨 Elon Musk on DOGE: "I think the goal of DOGE was to try to do something about the deficit, which is massive, where the interest payments exceed the amount of money spent on the Department of War. Like basically, if you add up all the money spent on on what is now the Department of War and the and intelligence in the US, that is smaller than the interest payments on the debt. So we need to sort of take a close look at spending and make sure that money is being spent in sensible ways and that it is not wasted or spent on fraudulent activities. And I got a lot of flack from this for this, obviously. But the people don't understand just how simple it was for the DOGE team to approve payments. If we literally we were just asked to have the contact information of the recipients or some evidence that say money was going to its intended purpose. But over and over that we were told we need to wire money for some sort of important cause in Africa. And we're like, OK, but the wiring wiring instructions are to Deloitte and Touche in D.C., in Washington, D.C., not to Africa. So we would like to send the money to Africa. Can you please connect us with the recipients so we can send them the money directly? And then we get silence."

ELON MUSK: Earth is Tiny. The Future is Space. Human civilization uses only a tiny fraction of the Sun’s energy. Even if humanity used a million times more energy, it would still be extremely small compared to the Sun’s power. The Sun dominates the solar system, holding around 99.8% of its total mass. Everything outside the Sun is almost insignificant when measured against the Sun’s scale and energy. Earth-based civilization has a natural limit because our planet’s resources are small compared to what exists in space. To grow civilization in a truly meaningful way, humanity has to expand beyond Earth. Space is not optional for long-term growth — it is the next step for civilization.

"We want to be able to take anyone who wants to go to the moon, anyone who wants to go to Mars or anywhere in the solar system, and maybe beyond the solar system. ELON MUSK: “My political views are very centrist. They’re not far right. Frankly, calling them far right is an insult to history and an insult to many people. It is an outrageous falsehood. It’s completely absurd. I have literally stated my position, and I’ve been very clear about this: there need to be secure borders. Elon Musk turned down all shares when he left OpenAI because he believed nonprofits are not meant for self-enrichment. "The reason I founded OpenAI was because I was concerned, based on my conversations with Larry Page, that he was not sufficiently concerned about the dangers of AI. At my birthday party, he, in front of a large group of people, called me a speciesist, for favoring humanity over computers. So after that, I was like, We got to have some counterbalance to Google, because Larry doesn't seem to care if humans make it or not. So I thought, what's the opposite of Google? It would be an open source nonprofit, and that's where the word open, in OpenAI comes from. It means open source. I provided all the money, recruited the key people, and taught them everything I know. I actually even got them to deal with Microsoft. And for all that, I did not seek any financial reward whatsoever. The reason I actually took down the offer for shares is because, I mean, I felt like what are the shares, and why like nonprofits supposed to have shares? ELON MUSK: "Zero people died because of DOGE" “USAID was a political organization. USAID funding was not stopped; it was moved to the State Department. There were claims that healthcare programs were shut down, but these claims are false. When funding is stopped for fraudulent organizations, do you think they’re going to say, ‘Please keep funding the fraud,’ or come up with a sympathetic story to get the funding restored? Obviously, it will be the latter. The amount of funding we’re talking about is far less than what could be supported by private foundations like the Gates Foundation or MacKenzie Bezos’s foundation.
