The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command on Friday released footage on how the maritime and air forces of the command expelled and drove away a Dutch shipborne helicopter that it said illegally intruded into the territorial airspace over China's Xisha Islands on Wednesday. In a statement, the Netherlands said that HNLMS De Ruyter was sailing through the South China Sea for diplomatic, security and economic reasons.
