“In Book of Mormon lands, as the faithful multitude arises to Him, Jesus’s joy is full. He weeps. 'And he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them. And when he had done this he wept again.' "This is Easter in Jesus Christ: He answers the longings of our hearts and the questions of our souls. He wipes away our tears, except our tears of joy. "When our tears flow, we sometimes apologize, embarrassed. But knowing that Jesus Christ understands life’s pains and joys can give us strength beyond our own as we navigate bitter and sweet.” — Elder Gerrit W. Gong (Gerrit W. Bishop Jeffrey Schaub from the Grand Blanc Ward shares an update on the ward and its members following the Sunday, September 28 attack on their local meetinghouse. “We will be happy and find joy again. I know there are a lot of people suffering right now. But we share in that testimony and that love of Jesus Christ that through Him, we’ll find that peace and joy that is missing today, and tomorrow, and the next few days—but it will come."
