This scene was really disappointing. The group just stood there and watched Azula throwing fire everywhere like a crazy kid. Even when she struck Uncle Iroh right in front of them, they made no move to intervene, they simply waited for her to finish before finally facing her. It is disappointing for real and the fact that I did not see a single prodigy level move from her here, just fire splashes throughout and yes she successfully walked away

Aang even calls it an “Avatar door” yet he couldn’t open it alone because he hadn’t learned firebending yet, that’s why Uncle Iroh had to step in and help. But here’s my observation, if it actually requires one bender from each of the four nations to unlock, why call it an “Avatar door” instead of “the Four Elements Door”? What do y’all think, is there a deeper reason behind the name?
