Not only is this one of the nicest, most heartfelt compliments that anyone has ever given me.. but what Ren says afterwards are some of the most important words I’ve heard spoken in the these turbulent times we live in. I’ve always felt and often preached the same ideology throughout my music, but I can admit that at times, even seeing the world for what it truly is, I’ve gotten caught up in some of the divisiveness that the orchestrators of our reality put in place to keep us fighting. Sometimes it’s hard not to. Sometimes it’s out of defense when my words are misunderstood or taken out of context. Sometimes certain stances, whether popular or not, do need to be taken by someone with thick enough skin to deal with the blowback. But also, sometimes I’ve been wrong. Sometimes I’ve gotten carried away. Sometimes I’ve forgotten to put myself in the shoes of someone on the other side of whatever point I’m trying to make and fallen into the very same us vs. them mentality he speaks about here. The truth is, we do have a common enemy. And we need to quickly realize that it isn’t each other. Because if we don’t find a way to set aside our differences, the future is going to be a very scary place. It already is. Love overpowers hate every single time. And I’d also like to return the compliment Ren. You’re the most talented human being I’ve ever worked with, and I can’t express to you how grateful I am to have had you and your team enter my life. You helped me fall back in love with music in a way I hadn’t felt in years. Thanks for taking the time to see past my gruff exterior and understand the person beneath it. You’re like the brother I never knew I had, and it was an absolute honor creating this art with you. Let’s do it again some eh? Long Live Inpatient 🫡🕸

So if you’ve been following, you know that the state of Connecticut lied about postponing the chemical spraying in our waterways until 2026. Regardless of local (and now national) public outcry, they decided to rush ahead and poison our rivers and lakes with Diquat, a chemical that is estimated to be up to 200 times more toxic than Glyphosate, banned in Europe, and proven to be harmful to humans and wildlife. We’ve got eyes on the water, and a team of people working behind the scenes on multiple fronts. And those involved in this assault on our water will regret the reckless decision they’ve made. This issue has obviously become deeply personal for me. They’ve written articles to discredit me, called me a conspiracy theorist spreading fear mongering “misinformation” .. Criticizing me for refusing to sit down, shut my mouth, and “trust the experts” For them to think that such things would scare me off was a gross miscalculation. This was never about me. It was about protecting the state I call home. The people, the animals, and our water. They think we’ll accept it for what it is and walk away defeated. They miscalculated that one too. This is far from over. And remember : this isn’t just about Connecticut. Several other states have either already sprayed this year or are planning to. But the fight has to start somewhere. Stand up for your communities, and don’t back down. Be brave. Be a MF American. This isn’t about politics. It’s about water. And if that isn’t a fight worth fighting then I don’t know what is 🫡🕸

Next up on the journey back through the Raw Thoughts series puts us at #RawThoughtsV .. 2021 was a weird time, and I seemed to be the only person in my realm of music speaking out against the vax. Pretty sure this is when the shadow banning really started taking effect. It’s also when I noticed a chunk of my fanbase turn on me over this specific issue. I even had several shows get canceled because promoters were so upset about my vax views. All I was tryna do was warn yall tho.. And man am I glad I didn’t get that shit !!! 🚨 Update on the chemical spraying in CT waterways 🚨 In summary : They’re about to spray Diquat — a chemical cousin of Agent Orange — into our lakes and rivers this July. No public vote. Been having an extremely unique week over here. Got a puppy the other day and have been quickly remembering how much work that entails. Even tho she’s only 2 lbs and adorable, little Domino is quickly learning how to be a menace. Also almost cut my thumb off with a chainsaw yesterday like an f’ing idiot. The fact that I didn’t hit tendon or cut the whole thing off is wild honestly. But I still saw bone and am hurtin pretty bad today. Typing this caption one handed is taking awhile. But also the day before that I found a deer antler in my yard which apparently symbolizes both protection and the start of a new chapter. Pretty wild for all this to happen in the week following #RawThoughtsVII release, which has been getting a crazier response than anything I’ve ever dropped. Life is a strange, beautiful, messy thing and I’m excited to see where it goes next 👁️🙏🏻🕸
