It’s time to end the de facto ban on air conditioning. Only 3% of British homes have air con compared to 90% of homes in the US, or Japan. We need to overturn our miserabilist approach to energy which says we alone can’t have air con or AI. Let’s Make Britain Cool Again 🇬🇧

Last year Britain lost a THIRD of its refineries. Why? A Carbon Tax on industry that Ed Miliband doubled. We won’t need any less petrol, diesel, jet fuel, ceramics or chemicals - we'll just rely more on foreign imports. We must axe the Carbon Tax and save British industry.

We must fight ethnonationalism and its causes with equal vigour. Those who deny an English ethnic identity or sneer at white people are simply stirring up resentment. If we curb sectarianism and encourage assimilation and pride in nation we’ll be a happier, stronger nation.

I warned Labour MPs that swallowing Ed Miliband’s lines on the North Sea would make them look foolish. Here’s one such example. People are losing their jobs and we are losing the tax revenue and supply chains of a critical industry. And they don’t even understand the basics.

Many couples work hard, but cannot afford to have another child. Yet from this week, they’ll be paying more in tax so that couples on welfare with four, five, or six children receive more in benefits. This is not fair. It is not compassionate to make welfare pay more than work.

An absolute must watch. Energy bosses have just told Parliament that EVEN IF gas prices halved by 2030, the soaring policy costs of renewables would mean bills go UP. Ed Miliband’s plan means more grid, more expensive renewable subsidies, more paying wind farms to turn off.

A hijab used to hide the abuse of 10-year-old Sara Sharif at the hands of her father. Women forced into cousin marriages while the NHS praised its ‘benefits’. Children groomed by gangs while police and social workers looked the other way. In each of these cases public services turned a blind eye to the harm of women and girls because they were scared of being called Islamophobic. Labour’s Islamophobia definition will make this worse. If we put one group on a pedestal and make it harder for public services to do their jobs, then we will only foster more inequality and resentment.
