A pair of Panzer Is traverse a pile of rocks with surprising ease. Probably one of my favorite clips of tanks in action

Germans including the Kaiser himself inspect a captured British tank before testing it against a dastardly French lamp post. You can almost see the love affair with tanks beginning to form within their hearts

Reloading and firing of the spigot mortar on a Churchill AVRE. For a long time these were incorrectly referred to as "290mm mortars" however in reality they are a 29mm spigot mortar with the payload measuring 230mm

Note the power of the German panzerfaust capable of reducing a M4 Sherman to a mere Stuart in one shot! Jokes aside this is extremely common in propaganda reels from various conflicts. Odds are if a reel shows a tank firing followed by another one burning it is two completely separate clips edited together. Obviously there are exceptions but this clip showcases just how blatant it can be at times. The fact remains, though, that the average person even now probably won't notice unless they pay close attention

Color footage from the Pacific theater in WW2 showing both handheld flamethrowers and Sherman flame tanks in action. Just one small glimpse into a very different war from that fought in Europe

A large gathering of Panthers and German infantry are shown in this clip are described by the narrator as holding the line between Goldap and Gumbinnen. They would inflict heavy casualties on the Red Army but the offensive operations would still continue to advance further west

Footage demonstrating the propellers on a Duplex Drive Sherman. The system also included pneumatic screens around the vehicle to allow it to float in the water before quickly being lowered upon reaching land

Another German reel, this time showing the factory assembling the 8-wheeled Panzerspähwagen armored cars. No doubt the large numbers shown in the footage are to create the image of much higher output than in reality

Another clip showcasing pre-war Czechoslovakian forces. Note that while tanks and armored cars are included a large focus is still on horseback cavalry. It's often forgotten that horses played a large role even into WW2 for many nations including Germany

The comparison is insane, anyone shelling out the price of a AAA game for a reskinned "anime" tank that doesn't even have custom voice lines should be bullied till the end of time Gaijin really not beating the copy paste allegations with this one...
