Making Jamaican Beef Patties for My Korean Parents. Jamaican beef patties literally carried me through my college years in Toronto. I probably ate thousands of them. It’s just so so good and I wanted to try to make it for mom and dad. #jamaican #jamaicanfood #kingston #montegobay

What we eat when we’re not filming Obviously we’re filming this meal but this is a type of meal we eat off camera. My sister makes spicy yaki udon like every other week because it’s so simple to make. This recipe is from our aunt who used to own a Japanese restaurant (with some Korean flare). The seasoning is really just soy sauce, sugar, black pepper and butter. And adding gochugaru, katsuobushi and roasted seaweed really takes it to another level. #mukbang #foodreview #koreanfood #japanesefood #kdrama

Korean Parents Try Full English Breakfast for the First Time Mom and dad try full English breakfast for the first time. I made Northern England Bury style black pudding, English back bacon, bangers (sausages), baked beans served with fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and toasts. Overall I was happy about how things turned out. Baked beans got reduced a bit too much while I was cooking other things but I didn’t wanna fix it because all other items was gonna get cold but it tasted good. #britishfood #englishfood #uk #british #londonfood #scottish #irish

Italian sandwich party with my Korean family I’ve been holding back on getting a deli slicer for months but finally gifted myself this beast for holidays 🤭. And Volpi Foods happened to send us holiday gifts too so we thew a sandwich party during our winter family reunion. We bought freshly baked Ciabatta from local Italian bakery, fresh mozzarella and a variety of pickles. We devoured the sandwiches and froze leftovers for lunches. #sandwich #italiansandwich #mukbang #asmr

Korean Parents Try British Beef Wellington for the First Time See how I made this in previous video. Dad likes his steak on the rare side, so the centre may look too pink for some people but that’s how dad likes it. If I were to do it again, I would raise the temperature a bit so the pastry was a little more browned. Beef Wellington was made with homemade djon mustard, homemade rough puff pastry, mushroom duxelles, spinach green crepes and prosciutto. Served with Bordelaise sauce (which was made from 20 hour reduction veal bone stock and Bordeaux wine reduction), pomme de terre (I attempted to make Michelin starred Chef Joel Robuchon's recipe. It’s silky, buttery and luxurious double strained mashed potatoes) and honey butter glazed parsnips and carrots. #britishfood #englishfood #uk #british #beefwellington

Opening Kimchi after 25 days Full Kimchi recipe at crazykoreancooking dot com. We opened our kimchi after 25 days. Turned out be one of the best ones we’ve made. We added hairtail fish to a couple of batches and dad was so happy about it. He said, “I never imagined eating this in America! I am so blessed!” #kimchi #koreanfood #ramen #kdrama

Cooking My Korean Parent’s First Beef Wellington Making My korean Parent’s First Beef Wellington was so much fun but also a lot of work for a meal that’s very simple to eat. Beef Wellington is enjoyed by the British but I heard it’s a British adaption of French cuisine and it’s become well known in the US thanks to Chef Gordon Ramsay. Will Gordon Ramsay approve? And most importantly will my mom and dad approve? The legend is that Beef Wellington was named after Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington, supposedly created to celebrate his 1815 victory over Napoleon, with its pastry shape often claimed to resemble Wellington boots. #britishfood #englishfood #uk #british #londonfood #scottish #irish

My Korean Parents Try Lasagne alla Bolognese for the First Time! See how I made this in previous video. I made two versions. First is the traditional version of Lasagne alla Bolognese which focuses more on the deep rich meat sauce rather than tomato sauce or cheese. This is different from ones from other regions in Italy. The only regret is I should have let it rest a little less so it’s a little more gooey. Second version is more non-traditional… I added some mozzarella because mom and dad just love mozzarella. I have a feeling they might ask for lasagna for dinner soon. #lasagne #lasagna #italian #italiano #ciboitaliano #italianfood

Korean Parents Try America’s Best Pizza in New Haven, Connecticut We heard New Haven Pizza is the best in the US so drove to Connecticut mom and dad to review. First, we went to the OG of New Haven Pizza, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. Then, in Part 2, we try Modern Apizza which is apparently the local’s favorite. Frank Pepe’s were founded in 1925 by Frank Pepe. They say this is the spot for the OG New Haven style “apizza”. The signature coal-fired, thin-crust pies are famous for a charred, crispy, and chewy texture, particularly the iconic White Clam Pie, which is often ranked among the best in the United States. #pizza #connecticut #newhaven #foodreview #mukbang
