If you told me 5yrs ago that young children were cycling along Jamaica Road to school, I would have said you were mad. I see children cycling and scooting to school all along the Cycleway4 daily now and full credit to those involved in this implementation 👏🏻

Cycleway 4 has multiple floating bus stops. However since the introduction of the cycleway, there has been a dramatic increase in usage, esp with children - cycling and scooting as well as less able. I can’t imagine pushing them back into the road to mix with vehicles.

My personal opinion is letting black cabs through Bank Junction at peak rush hour (07:00- 09:30) would be a disaster and potentially dangerous with the amount of people who walk/cycle at that time. Outside those times, not so much.
