Former Georgia teammate Dylan Fairchild calls him a 4th round steal. “I was super fired-up,” said Fairchild. “I went home and told my wife, ‘We got Colbie!’ If you would’ve told me a year ago that he went where he went, I would’ve been shocked. He’s super- talented and a great dude.”

5 observations from the #Bengals local player workout: 1. Jack Dingle was a 3-year starter at UC and has elite athleticism. His RAS score of 9.82 ranked 65th of 3,460 LB measured since 1987. Dingle had nearly 400 special teams snaps as a Bearcat, and knows that will be critical to his NFL chances. “That’s the number one thing,” he said. “Get on a team and start learning special teams right away. That’s very important to these coaches. I’ve talked to a lot of current NFL players and they say “Learn that kick-step on punt man. If you make the punt team, you’ll make the team.’”

I can jump 33 inches. I ran over 20 miles an hour at 285 pounds. All of those things are nice, but I think adding the mental side to the physical is what makes a great player.”
