Extraordinary statement by the PM that ‘social security’ (ie welfare) comes before national security ie he won’t fund defence by cutting benefits. Instead he wants to spend MORE on social projects. Britain can’t afford this government

I gave a speech today in an empty chamber. It’s about the need for a Christian restoration.

Proud to stand with Matt Hellyer (Paras & 22 SAS) and 200 veterans at the Ram in Tidworth on Salisbury Plain. Reform UK will end the prosecutions of our soldiers and put veterans first in line for social housing.

Lab, Con & LibDems today all agreed the decision by Weds Mids police to ban the Jewish fans is wrong, disgraceful etc, but nothing they can do because ‘operational independence’. Only Reform UK will change the law to put the police under the control of elected politicians.

Taxpayers are charged over £200m a year for divisive civil service 'Staff Networks' pushing progressive politics in Whitehall - with bonuses and promotion in reward for participation. 2000 civil servants spend up to a day a week running these groups; over 700 are employed solely in roles promoting the DEI agenda. Our plan to end the activist industrial complex here:

The MOD has 50,000 homes - a tenth of them empty. Rather than using spare housing for Afghans and asylum seekers we should be prioritising homeless British Army veterans. Reform UK will do this - and also give veterans priority for the 50,000 new social homes we will build. Details on Richard Tice MP 🇬🇧 's new housing plan here

Labour have changed the rules to allow civil servants to spend unlimited office hours as trade union activists - and scrapped the transparency requirement, so we don’t know how much time or money this costs the taxpayer. Reform will end this scandal. More here

Labour is blatantly targeting Reform UK in its elections bill. Meanwhile the real threat to democracy is 2.5 million non-British citizens able to vote; flagrant abuse of postal voting; and widespread ‘family voting’. Reform UK will end all this.

The way to get young people into work is to cut tax so businesses can create jobs, and cut welfare so people are motivated to take them. The PM just wants to spend more money.

PMQs were naturally light-hearted today - end of term, farewell to the PM - but politics is not a joke. It is wrong that the mainstream parties are backing a comedian wearing a dustbin as their joint candidate in Clacton. My question to the PM:

Terrible speech from the (hitherto much admired) ‘Tory’ historian Andrew Roberts - combining a Whiggish argument about 'the right side of history' with explicit repudiation of Christian teaching in favour of the eugenicist ethics of pagan Rome. This isn't conservatism.

The Assisted Suicide Bill Committee has finished. My final speech here. This is not the Bill the public thought they were getting. It contradicts the NHS Act and the Hippocratic Oath. It's got worse, not better, in committee.

Welcome rhetoric from Govt but here’s the difference with Reform: We won’t give illegal immigrants the right to stay for min 2.5 years, to study & work here, & to bring their families. And we won’t stay in the ECHR which stops deportation and makes a mockery of sovereignty.
