Ammo has been removed from NIGHTMARE OPERATOR. It has been replaced with the Heat System. Shooting generates Heat. Overheating means you cannot shoot for a period. Switching Modules, performing melee attacks, and utilizing Discharge Cancels reduce Heat. #gamedev #ps1 #psx

Shizuku is Misha's fellow Operator, and romantic partner. Contrary to Misha, she prefers sniping so that she can keep her exertion to a minimum, and keep her distance from Youkai. #screenshotsaturday #nightmareoperator

Certain Youkai are smart enough to know when they're being targeted, and will attempt to evade Misha's shots. 妖怪の中には、自分が狙われていることに気づき、ミーシャの攻撃を回避しようとするやつもいます。 #screenshotsaturday #nightmareoperator #ps1 #psx #horrorgame

Remina are stationary enemies capable of attacking Misha with a variety of long-range attacks. Stunning them will dislodge their mask and reveal their internal mechanisms, which can be shot to deal heavy damage. #screenshotsaturday #nightmareoperator #horrorgame #indiegame

It seems the Operators who came before Misha didn't fare so well... 他の公安オペレーターたち…？じゃなさそうね… #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #nightmareoperator

We've been quietly plugging away at #nightmareoperator, and we're intentionally holding some cards close to the chest. Still, we want to show off some of the cool polishing we've been doing. Here's an example: smooth volumetric fog transitions. #screenshotsaturday #gamedev

In NIGHTMARE OPERATOR, switching weapons as quickly as possible is the key to efficiently dispatching enemies. NIGHTMARE OPERATORでは武器を素早く切り替えることが、敵を効率的に倒す鍵となります。 #nightmareoperator #indiegame #psx #ps1 #gamedev #TPS #actiongame

Effectively weaving between melee combat, parries, Discharge Cancels, and shooting is key to surviving in the Toyko Ruins. 東京遺跡で生き続けるため、近接戦闘、パリー、ディスチャージキャンセル、射撃を全部上手く使う必要があります #screenshotsaturday #nightmareoperator #gamedev

Misha's three-stage melee combo is a powerful tool for dispatching Youkai at close range. The second and third stages of the combo can be altered by inputting different movement directions during the combo (forward, side, etc.) #screenshotsaturday #nightmareoperator #indiedev
