My wife Delia and I went to our regular 12:30 Mass in Tuam Cathedral today. Fr. Mark Quinn delivered a homily that struck me deeply because of the message and appeal it contained. This evening I asked Fr. Mark for his permission to put it out on this platform and he agreed, it’s a message that should be considered by those in a position of influence in Ireland.

Today, Mícheál Martin (Irish Taoiseach/PM) said that he wants sexual transitioning of children and that it be supported via the education system. He also said they don’t want to fight a ‘culture war’ over this. Here’s a clip for The Irish Question pod, where I give my reaction. | Nick Delehanty 🇮🇪 Paul Treyvaud Elaine Mullally ☘️ Aidan Joyce

I visited Alexandrv Prioteasa and his family twice today in Tullamore hospital. It’s now been three weeks since he was admitted to Tullamore following a road accident. His family informed me that he was given a small few days to live. They tell me he was initially diagnosed remotely by Beaumont. Alexandrv is still stuck in Tullamore Hospital as his family have fought to get him medically evacuated back to Romania so he can get to a neurological hospital and surgical team. The Romanian Embassy have been working to get him back. The Romanian Minister for health has also been involved. There are some other facts I’m aware of from the family that give cause for serious concern. We held off on doing anything about this publicly for three weeks but a man’s life is at stake here:

I dropped in again on the Galway Port #FuelProtest and had a great chat with some of the people there. One of the things I was shown was the two truck containers of food and supplies dropped off by well wishers. A greatly appreciated gesture. There’s also a large fast food truck there for those wanting to purchase cooked food. While I was there I was told a negotiation was underway to allow four tanker trucks out of the fuel tank farm. Those trucks for emergency services and critical supply. When the moment came (see video) only two tanker trucks came out. I was later told the reason was that only two drivers were willing to do it. I did not independently verify this. There is a determined, peaceful, very decent crowd there, lovely people, not hostile. #FuelProtest

1/2 Here’s Paul Murphy of the People Against Profit party, the most far Left loon of the Dáil. Free from defamation law speaking from Parliament today, he calls me ‘Far Right’, because to Murphy ‘Far Right’ is a tax paying entrepreneur, employer, catholic father of four, with years of service in the Army reserve, who has never sought a handout from the state, but who is an ‘active citizen’ in the classical sense. And you may think, well, Murphy would make most Communists look reasonable, so who cares? But…

This was outside a Washington DC restaurant this evening where a Catholic dinner event was being held (I was one of a number attending). This group of protesters (there were four but you see three in this video) mounted a very high decibel noise and strobe and laser light assault on the restaurant, which is a family business. It went on for about two hours. The idea was to ruin the event and harm the business of the venue. It was to say the least, bizarre. Though I did have to laugh at them, madder than a box of monkeys. Felt bad for the business owners though.

Earlier this evening, I attended the Mass for the Feast of The Holy Souls, at The Brompton Oratory, London. The liturgical music was Fauré’s Requiem, with choir & orchestra. I wanted to share this to show how this music fits into its original full setting of a Latin Mass. This thread will be excerpts.
