Powering the Next Phase of Pune’s Growth Performed Bhoomipujan of Pune's 3 Elevated Highways; Pune-Shirur Elevated Expressway, Talegaon-Chakan-Shikrapur Elevated Highway and Hadapsar-Yavat Elevated Highway, along with Hon Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ji. Under the visionary leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji and the guidance of Hon Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Ji, Pune is set to enter a new era of seamless connectivity and world-class infrastructure. As one of Maharashtra’s most prominent growth engines, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are entering the next phase of infrastructure transformation. These 3 landmark elevated corridor projects will strengthen the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) as a future-ready hub of connectivity, mobility and economic growth. The Pune-Shirur Elevated Corridor (53.4 km), the Talegaon-Chakan-Shikrapur Elevated Highway (53.2 km) and the Hadapsar-Yavat Elevated Highway (31 km) will decongest key corridors, improve connectivity and enable faster, seamless travel across the region. These corridors will significantly ease congestion and unlock the next phase of sustainable growth for the Pune Metropolitan Region. Designed with future Metro integration, the projects will be implemented through an innovative Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, ensuring efficient delivery while streamlining land acquisition and allied processes. This model will also generate an upfront premium of ₹950 crore for the Government, making these projects both infrastructure-driven and financially sustainable. 20-Year-Old Issue Resolved - Maharashtra to get 10 TMC of Narmada Water Attended a meeting chaired by Hon Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amitbhai Shah, along with Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav ji, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel ji, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma ji and Union Minister C. R. Patil ji, where a historic consensus was reached on the Narmada project. Maharashtra will now receive 10 TMC of water, as Gujarat agrees to provide 5 TMC through the Narmada–Tapi Diversion and 5 TMC from the Ukai Project. This landmark decision will significantly benefit Nandurbar and North Maharashtra region. Also significantly Maharashtra's financial liability has been reduced to just ₹27 crore only, while all remaining dues and long-pending inter-state disputes have been resolved. Empowering Our Soil, Securing Our Future: A Long-Term Vision for Maharashtra’s Farmers Deeply grateful to have been felicitated by the BJP Kisan Morcha, Maharashtra Pradesh for announcing the 'Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana' in Mumbai today. This scheme provides a loan waiver of up to ₹2,00,000 along with an incentive of ₹50,000 to farmers who repaid their loans regularly. Also more than 12 lakh farmers are set to receive the benefit post revision in the criteria of 2019 loan waiver scheme. However, a loan waiver is not the final solution, nor does it make farmers truly prosperous. We must make agriculture profitable by adopting new technologies, which requires significant investment. Under the leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the Central Government and the State Government together are empowering the agricultural sector through various schemes, robust financial investments, and initiatives like Jalyukt Shivar, Magel Tyala Shet tale and many more. The government has started daytime power supply and decided to provide 12 hours of free daytime electricity to all farmers till end of this year. On this occasion, also announced that electricity bills for farmers with pumps up to 7.5 HP, worth ₹48,000 crore, will be waived by the government. To compete in the global market, we need to reduce production costs and increase productivity. Integrating AI in agriculture, focusing on animal husbandry, and driving a push for natural farming will help us in the process. Schemes such as the Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjivani Yojana (PoCRA), SMART, and MAGNET are all designed to transform the agricultural economy, make it sustainable, and support our farmers. Additionally, river-linking projects are underway for drought-prone areas so that future generations do not have to face these hardships. Our focus is always on the long-term vision for this sector to change the lives of farmers for the better. Rail Infrastructure for a Level Crossing-Free Maharashtra! Inaugurated 4 Road Over Bridges (ROBs), 4 Underpasses (Subways) and 1 Road Under Bridge (RUB) across Maharashtra, jointly developed by Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MahaRail), the Government of Maharashtra and the Ministry of Railways, along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ji. These 9 infrastructure projects across Nagpur, Sangli, Satara, Nashik, Amravati and other districts have been completed by MahaRail on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality. The vision is to make Maharashtra completely Fatak Mukt (level-crossing-free). Railway crossings will gradually be replaced with safer infrastructure, making travel smoother and roads safer for everyone. These projects will transform Maharashtra and strengthen infrastructure, while creating more employment opportunities for the youth. MahaRail has prepared a plan for 145 flyovers, including 65 at railway crossings and 80 at other locations, with the target of completing them across Maharashtra within the next 3 years. These transformation reflects the state's continued focus on modern infrastructure, better connectivity and improved public amenities, helping a safer and more prosperous Maharashtra.
