I just interviewed Collier Gwin, the man seen here hosing down a homeless woman outside his art gallery. He has been getting threats & wanted to explain his actions. The person who took the vid & homeless advocates are denouncing Gwin’s actions. On deadline BRB. #SanFrancisco

The man in the car asked the elder to use his phone. ⠀ The 70-year old man’s wife told me she realized the younger man wasn’t making a call & seemed to be installing something on her husband’s phone. She intervened and asked for the phone back. ⠀ During their attempt to get the phone back the man floored the SUV, dragging the couple down the block. She allowed me to record our conversation so others can be aware of what happened. ⠀ Neighbors provided this and other videos to SFPD to use in their investigation. The Special Victims Unit says this tactic isn’t unheard of but haven’t seen it as a trend recently. Anyone with info is asked to call police. ⠀ #SanFrancisco

The Walgreens at 9th and Market was hit again by thieves this afternoon. You can see multiple people try to bust open the plexiglass shelves, kicking and prying them open. The store was also targeted yesterday. Within about the hour the Walgreens at 1st and Mission was hit in a similar fashion. An employee says the individuals take mostly shampoo/body care and makeup. One guard told my photographer if he did so much as touch one of the suspects he’d be fired. #SanFrancisco
