Many physicians may have historically overlooked the lymphocyte count, largely because, prior to the FDA approval of Anktiva in June 2025, there were none (as told by my mothers oncologist at UCLA) options to meaningfully increase a patient’s lymphocyte count. The recent availability of Anktiva marks a significant advancement, offering new hope in this area. Please ask your physician or anyone getting radiation to read and listen to Dr Shiong's reasoning. They need NK cells/T cells via Bioshield/Anktiva but also smaller radiation field.
