Many physicians may have historically overlooked the lymphocyte count, largely because, prior to the FDA approval of Anktiva in June 2025, there were none (as told by my mothers oncologist at UCLA) options to meaningfully increase a patient’s lymphocyte count. The recent availability of Anktiva marks a significant advancement, offering new hope in this area. "Well, we look for anemia and we look for neutropenia." "Do you look for lymphocyte count"? No, Why? We don't bother about it because there's no treatment for that. It turns out the only thing that protects your body against cancer is your lymphocytes, meaning the NK cells and T cells. And there was no treatment for that for 35 years until last year, 2024, when it got approved, Anktiva.

Please ask your physician or anyone getting radiation to read and listen to Dr Shiong's reasoning. They need NK cells/T cells via Bioshield/Anktiva but also smaller radiation field.
