Prompting GPT-5 is different. In the examples below, optimized prompts: • Cut runtime by 1s • Dropped memory use 3,626 KB → 577 KB • Boosted code quality • Improved robustness (0.32→0.54) • Increased context grounding (0.80→0.95) We built a prompt migrator + optimizer so you don’t need to memorize every GPT-5 best practice.

The new Cursor site is a work of art. First saw it on mobile but was surprised on desktop. Every window is interactive (they're not videos!). Text boxes are typeable, files clickable, and the demo is customizable (switch between Agent, Tab, Diffs). And you can just tab through!

"Create a video project announcing Agent Skills, following Cursor brand rules. 1920×1080, 60fps. Typewriter text effect at about 1 character per frame, then hold for 3 seconds after typing on every title card. Line 1 types first, then line 2. Card 1: “Agent Skills are now available” on line 1 and “in Cursor” on line 2 Card 2: “Skills let agents discover and run” and line 2 “specialized prompts and code.” Then play the skills.mp4 recording full-screen, framed top-aligned for first 2 seconds, then zoom in (with easing) to the top-left by about 125%. Should be continuous zoom! Final card: “This video was made entirely in Cursor" on line 1 and "with Remotion skills.” on line 2, then hold; End with the existing end.mp4 animation full-screen. Render and open the file inside Cursor’s browser tool to let me see it here!" 1. Uses an existing screen recording eric zakariasson made. 2. Uses our existing end card animation. 3. Had a Cursor rule with our brand guidelines and colors.

Made this video with Cursor + Remotion skills. One shot. Took 3 minutes (including my review of the plan). Cursor's browser even played it back and verified it followed our brand guidelines so our designer Justin Jay Wang doesn't yell at me! Prompt + full recording below.

I built a @Stripe annual letter time machine with Cursor cloud agents. Browse past and present letters with reader mode, GPT-5.2, and voice. Cursor used parallel agents with VMs that tested and verified, then sent demos (below). So a lot of this was built from my phone, async.

The Convex plugin is now live in Cursor. It's one of my favorites, with 30 components: • Subagent that optimizes for Convex perf • Skills for schema building + migrations • Hooks for validation + pre-commit checks • Convex deployment James Cowling walks us through it:

High fidelity image editing is now in the OpenAI API and ChatGPT! Here's a quick demo I made that focuses on editing faces. It adds mustaches and facial expressions—but preserves all the other details of the face. Notice how my hair, glasses, nose, etc are perfectly maintained.
