All the models are solid at Three.js in Cursor.... It mostly comes down to speed and style preference. Composer 2 finished first by a mile and even made the trees sway in the wind. Opus 4.6 felt most game-like. GPT-5.4 had the most detailed UFO and terrain but took the longest.show more

Opus 4.6 vs GPT-5.4 (4/9) prompt: Build a production-quality... 3D flight-tracking web app using React + Vite + Three.js (react-three-fiber + drei) that visualizes live OpenSky aircraft data on a rotatable 3D Earth, with real-time plane motion, smooth interpolation, altitude-accurate positioning, and polished lighting/post-processing. Both models did really well on this one and honestly I’m impressed with both. GPT-5.4 had the nicer post-processing out of the box. I really liked the subtle light shimmer on the airplanes when rotating the planet, and the camera work when clicking a plane felt better overall. Opus 4.6 though had a few details I liked more. It automatically went and found a much nicer Earth texture on GitHub, while with GPT-5.4 I had to reprompt it to go look for a better one. I also preferred Opus’s plane model overall, it just looked more polished, whereas GPT-5.4’s plane asset looked a bit funny. One thing I noticed with GPT-5.4 is that when you click into the plane, the camera sometimes clips through the planet, which breaks the effect a bit. Opus handled that part more cleanly. Overall this felt like a strong result from both, just with different strengths. GPT-5.4 felt better on presentation and post-processing, while Opus had better asset choices and a more premium-looking Earth/plane combo.show more

After a weekend of testing and working on something... with GPT-5.3-Codex & Opus 4.6, ChatGPT Pro + Claude Max 5x are still the best combo in my opinion Using Codex & Claude Code CLI running in tmux (the desktop apps are still a bit buggy) and they're accessible even on the go from iPhone with Termius (and VPN) Usually starting with GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh and Opus 4.6 in plan mode, discussing changes and options, and each writing their plans down to separate Markdown files Then letting GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh (or Opus 4.6) implement the changes as the first draft, then Opus 4.6 reviews them with a team of agents (works pretty well already with tmux even though still experimental) based on both prepared plans, fixes stuff, and then another review by GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh or vice versa Interesting that even Opus 4.6 still occasionally makes silly mistakes like wrong imports, partial or overly broad renaming of variables/functions, etc Fun fact, OpenAI apparently plans to use their Super Bowl ad to promote Codex - curious what that will look likeshow more

Opus 4.6 vs GPT 5.4 (High) (1/9) prompt: Build... a single-file HTML/CSS/JS (no libs) demo that uses SVG to simulate a plant growing: stem extends, leaves sprout + unfurl with springy/windy “physics”, then seamlessly loops forever. For the initial impressions I'm really impressed by GPT, for speed they both felt about the same, but gpt was still half cheaper than opus. I also much prefer the design and animation that gpt produced, physics on the leaves are super cool and it also loops pretty nicely whilst opus just fades out the plant. Still got a bunch of tests to run but this is really exciting.show more

we compared Gemini 3.1 Pro, Opus 4.7, and GPT... 5.5 to Kimi K2.6, Xiaomi Mimo v2.5, and Qwen 3.6 Max in average, closed source are faster. GPT 5.5 and Opus 4.7 the fastest. Kimi K2.6 comes after. It keeps up thanks to its native INT4 quantization. MiMo took the longest, but the refinement and aesthetic only ranks after Gemini 3.1. as if a mini Gemini. Its slow cuz it's trained for long-horizon agentic work. Claude Opus 4.7 is blooming in a very different style, probably because Anthropic trains for taste, not just accuracy.show more

I gave Kimi K3 and Opus 5 the exact... same prompt to build a car racing game. I expected Opus 5 to take the lead. Instead, Kimi K3 finished in ~25 min for ~$8.9, while Opus 5 took 19 min and cost $14. The biggest surprise wasn’t the speed or the price. Kimi K3 built the better game. Smoother controls, better physics, and a driving experience that felt ready from the start. Opus 5 looked cleaner visually but Kimi won where it actually mattered. Nearly half the cost and the better gameplay.show more

Claude Opus 4.7 vs GPT 5.4 (2/7) Testing how... well these models do with cloth physics simulation, and honestly I'm quite disappointed to see how poorly GPT 5.4 performed here. Performance was pretty bad... it added all the functionality (panning, cutting, dragging the curtain) under one mouse event, causing it to glitch out a lot. The scene also looks kinda shit. Opus 4.7 pretty much nailed the prompt. First of all, the angle and scene it picked are really nice, with the lamp just creeping into the frame. The dragging, wind physics, and cutting all worked. I also had to reprompt gpt 1-2 times to properly build and remove a bunch of ugly ui cards it added on top of the 3d scene. prompt: Build a premium Vite + React interactive cloth simulation of a cozy room curtain using real particle/constraint physics, with structural + shear springs, damping, collisions, and stable real-time deformation. Users should be able to drag the curtain, add wind, and cut constraints, while the experience stays polished, visually elegant, and numerically stable.show more

I don't think there's a single terminal ux that... handles agent swarms well With slate, you can literally use Opus 4.6 and GPT 5.4 at the exact same time But making it intuitive took a ton of work So heres a thread on how it works and how to actually use it 🧵show more

Homelander's speed inconsistency in the Season 5 finale was... one of the most annoying talking points for me too. Early on we see him casually yeeting to space and back in seconds, speed-blitzing people, yet in the final fight he's getting held down and can't just fly out or end it quick? It felt like they nerfed him hard for the plot. Kinda took me out of the moment. The ending was still brutal, but damn the powerscaling was all over the place.show more

Since I'm working on a Topdown/Isometric Adventure-like game for... The Sandbox Studio's #Gamejam - I also needed to fix some issues where when we would walk behind trees, terrain or models, we coudl still see our main character. Also, made some changes of the visual style of the paths, and shadow system + added some extra models in the mix! 🎨 Love vibing with Three.js + The Sandbox Creatorsshow more

Kimi K3 beats GPT 5.6 Sol on both speed... and in cost in backend bug fixing ! Planted 4 defects in the same Python order service: a wrong-total calculation, a broken access-control check (IDOR), a crash on invalid input, and an inventory oversell. Both models got identical code and the same prompt, with an automated test suite verifying every fix over the live API. GPT-6 Astra vs Kimi K3. I'm comparing these because... the gap between US models and Chinese models is already getting small. If US AI labs slow down, they will be the ones most affected by it. > Astra did it in one shot 6m 20s and $8. > Kimi K3 got almost the same result, but I had to use 2 follow-up prompts. Total: 12 min and $6.35. The results are almost identical. If US labs slow down, China takes the AI race. They will ship Astra-level open-weight models. China is already good at this. Open weights become the default. That's a nightmare for US labs.show more
