The crazy thing about Atherton California (The richest town is United States) is that as soon as you step outside its borders your met with Chavez Super Market, Cucos Burritos, El Camaron, Michoacán produce, Mi Rancho SuperMarket. Do Athertonians really get groceries at Chavez Super Market, Mi Rancho then hit up El Camaron after??

Boomers are the only thing holding San Jose back from becoming Shenzhen. The money is there, the will is there, the labor is there. Everyone not only seems to want this but they’re itching for it. A beast waiting to be unleashed. Once boomers are out of the picture. It’s game on.

A major problem facing U.S. Hispanics is that we do not conceptualize our corner of the country—El Norte—as a living, breathing region with a shared history, common identity, and collective destiny. Without this sense of place, we fracture culturally dividing ourselves into competing identities that prevent any meaningful political or cultural consolidation of La Cultura and La Raza. We argue over labels such as Hispanic, Latino, or Chicano; split into regional identities like Tejano, Nuevomexicano, or California Chicano (Norteño and Sureño) or just straight “Mexican” Add assimilationist “No Sabos,” who become white or black and left-versus-right politics, and the result is a fragmented people with little political or economic cohesion and power. This gets us no where other then politically disenfranchised, second class citizens. Only by understanding ourselves regionally as El Norte bound together by a shared regional history and culture—as Nortenos can we re-assimilate out of the false mono culture the “melting pot” that leads us no where and into a tradition that informs the path forward. It doesn’t matter if it’s San Antonio tx or San Jose Ca shared historical narrative> Regional institutions>Economic networks>Local investment>Historic preservation= Regional pride, Civic participation, Education 🔂🔁 the cycle perpetuates. No more under representation as we become a bloc no more LatinX ghettos but rather centers of Hispanic wealth, power institutions.

Not to be a racist but I HATE seeing Oaxacan activity like this in Cali. Whatever it is they’re doing is demonic and pointless at best. Prancing around demons? Bruh. Querias Norte… get your money up not your funny up. This is not it Keep this Indio superstition nonsense back home this has no place here.
