251226 birthday livestream "can intl fans send letters?" #wulei : yes i think so. a while ago, when i was in london, there was a fan who collected letters from intl fans into a big package and gave it to me. i saw they were from a lot of different countries. it was very thoughtful. those fans were from all over the world and wrote to me. some used English, some wrote in a crooked handwriting, it really touched me. reading those english letters made me feel like i was practicing my english reading and comprehension. but it made me happy reading them. some also pasted some of their drawings, i'm really thankful. thanks to all the fans, Chinese and international ones. i may not be able to receive all the love but i can feel every bit of it.

#wulei about being so emotionally stable “i always say i’m emotionally stable and i think it’s because i’m a pretty lucky person. i’m doing what i love, i’m filming a drama that i like. everything is going well. i don’t have a lot of big issues in my life. that’s why i’m emotionally stable. if bad things happen to me, i don’t know if i’ll still be emotionally stable. so i feel like i am facing my life with calmness and gratitude. that’s probably why i look so stable emotionally.”

#wulei about taking breaks from filming (for other works) “i think an actor needs to find a certain balance. sometimes it is indeed better to stay immersed in your role for a long period of time. but other times, it feels also great to step out, meet other people and adjust your mindset. maybe you will find a new perspective on your character. it’s like when you’re stuck on a problem and can’t find a solution no matter how hard you think. then you do something else and suddenly the answer appears. i think acting works the same way. if you’re too stubborn, you stop being objective.”
