Testing out some dynamic physics-based cover by kicking stuff over, inspired by FEAR 2

Coded Arms fucking rules man. Playing on the PSP emulator with a mouse injector just like the devs intended

sharing clips of regular Max Payne 3 gameplay is always neat because it's the coolest any game has ever been

Trying out Predator: Concrete Jungle, and the effect of the rain water pouring down the building looks great, I'm sure it's just a flat mesh with a scrolling texture but works really well

Trying out SAS Secure Tomorrow, the sassy Bri'ish F.E.A.R game made with LithTech, the same engine! feels like one of those total overhaul mods while still using the same animations, particles and SFX

My brother's helping me out with level design so I took the opportunity to work on a smooth vaulting transition. Using IK to place the left hand on the object just for visuals

It's getting there...

Crossbows? Yeah we got those too, why not

Happy to have gotten bullet decals and particles spawning correctly on bullet exit points, can also have different decal spawns when bullets don't penetrate cover like the metal table

Made a couple of new mechanics so that when you run out of ammo you can still complete the missions by any means necessary

Been testing breaching charges and glass shattering; first glass has every shard as a physics object, it's heavier but looks nicer, the other one is a particle system where the performance hit is negligible but doesn't look as nice hmm...
