Just before midnight. East Reno. McCarran and Rock Blvd. A Porsche 911 GTS and an Audi RS5 are mid-race down McCarran. Both blow the red. An uninvolved Toyota pickup catches the hit. Six people inside that pickup. All six in the hospital. An 84-year-old is fighting for his life. The juvenile driving the Porsche? Hospitalized. The adult driver and passenger of the Audi? Hospitalized. Reno PD's Major Accident Investigation Team has it. They believe witnesses left the scene before officers arrived.
