They desired to live and to have a good life like everyone else. They had a business that was running and flourishing, called Mr. Classic. They were not reckless or idle; they were working, building, and contributing to society. See how full of life and hope they were-young men with plans, responsibilities, and a future they were actively shaping. That future was cut short not by fate, but by neglect. A system that should protect lives failed them. A government entrusted with safety and accountability failed to act, failed to respond, and failed to tell the truth afterward. Now their family is left not with closure, but with ashes; not with answers, but with silence; not with justice, but with grief 💔 🕊️ . Behind every statistic is a family shattered, siblings traumatised, and parents left to mourn what should never have been lost. This pain will not fade easily, and it should not be ignored. May the soul of Stephen, Casimir and Collins rest in perfect peace. Amen 🙏🏽

This is so sad. NANYAH was a promising young-talented Catholic singer. 😢 she has such an angelic voice. So sad and heartbreaking that she had to die the way she did-without help or medical intervention. May her soul rest in perfect peace, singing with the choirs of heaven. Amen 🙏🏽

Thank you Anne Nwaghodoh and Channels Television for giving voice to this incident. Yesterday, as the world focused on the dedication of the Cathedral of Our Lady Assumption, Rev. Fr. William Omatu was left mourning the death of his beloved brothers: Stephen, Casimir, and Collins, who tragically died in the Balogun Market fire in Lagos. With many questions still unanswered, these brothers were laid to rest not as bodies, but as ashes, offered as a final sign of dignity to the dead and a painful attempt at closure for their family. They were young men who desired to live, to work, and to build a future. Their business was thriving. Their lives mattered. What remains unacceptable is the silence, the denial of casualties, and the absence of accountability from those responsible for public safety. Lives were lost, yet families are left without clear answers, official acknowledgment, or justice. I do hope that does not end as another forgotten tragedy. We call on the relevant authorities to conduct a transparent investigation, publicly acknowledge the victims, and take concrete steps to prevent such disasters from recurring. Human lives are not expendable, and grief should not be met with indifference. Justice, truth, and accountability are the very least these families deserve. May the souls of Stephen, Casimir and Collins rest in Gods bosom. Amen 🙏🏽

You want to receive this blessing ! Pope Leo XIV delivers his first Urbi et Orbi - “to the city and the world” Apostolic Blessing from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica. It’s the most solemn blessing the pope gives, intended for both the people of Rome and the entire world. It includes a plenary indulgence (under usual conditions) for those who receive it in person or via broadcast. Traditionally delivered from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica. The 69-year-old American, born Robert Francis Prevost, was elected as the 267th Pope on May 8 during the first full day of the conclave. ©️ Vatican News

We declare February a month of divine delight. May our obedience be acceptable before You and our faith draw Your favour. Refine our motives, sharpen our focus, and silence every distraction. Let Your fire purify our motives, sharpen our focus, and silence all distractions. Where we have laboured without results, breathe upon our efforts. Where doors were shut, grant us favour that cannot be denied. Amen 🙏🏽 Happy new month 🤩🎉

Small chapel, few guests, no pressure - just love, just faith, and a lifelong promise. They skipped the big wedding and built a beautiful marriage. Proof that love doesn’t need a crowd to be unforgettable. May God bless their union with His presence and mercy. Amen 🙏🏽 Catholic weddings are not expensive. Peep my dance steps 🕺
