BREAKING: I just signed the bill to extend postpartum coverage for Wisconsin moms from a lousy 60 days to one full year after giving birth. I promised I'd never stop fighting to make sure moms and babies had the postpartum care they need, and today, I delivered on that promise.

BREAKING: I just vetoed Republicans’ anti-LGBTQ bill to ban trans and gender nonconforming kids from participating in school sports teams that align with their gender identity. LGBTQ kids deserve our love and respect and support just like any other kid.

BREAKING: I just vetoed Republicans' bill banning gender-affirming care for LGBTQ youth. I promised I would veto any bill that makes Wisconsin a less safe, less inclusive, and less welcoming place for LGBTQ folks and kids—and I keep my promises.

Wisconsin had over $7.5 billion in exports to Canada last year, but what have our Republican members of Congress done to stop President Trump from igniting a trade war with our state’s largest export partner? Nothing—they’ve been enabling him every step of the way.

Every year, I visit all 72 counties at least once because I want to meet Wisconsinites where they’re at—homes, schools, farms, businesses, hospitals, and everywhere in between. And every day, I learn something new. I can’t wait to do it again in 2026.

We followed a court order and worked quickly to make sure that nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites who rely on FoodShare, including about 270,000 kids, had food to eat. Now, President Trump wants to yank that money away from hungry kids, families, and seniors in Wisconsin? Hell no.

Today, Republicans voted to remove more than 540 provisions from my budget, including those below, that would've helped kids, working families, veterans, seniors, small business owners, and so many others in communities across our state. My reaction ⬇️

I don’t care about the excuses Republicans are making out in Washington, D.C.—the people of Wisconsin deserve access to affordable healthcare. Period. Get back to work, end the shutdown, and extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits. This is basic stuff, folks.

Wisconsinites have increasingly had to raise their own property taxes to keep their local schools open. That’s not new—it was happening long before I became governor. We need lawmakers to stop squabbling over who's to blame and start doing something about it. Let's get it done.

BREAKING: Republican lawmakers were a no-show today for the special meeting I called to release $140 million to fight PFAS statewide and stabilize healthcare access in Western Wisconsin after recent hospital closures. Am I angry about that? The answer's yes.

I have always promised to veto any anti-LGBTQ legislation sent to my desk that hurts our LGBTQ kids and neighbors and makes them less safe. Promises made, promises kept. 👍
