My Pajero Evolution is finally complete 🥹 Why this livery? Because this car tells a story. Not silver. Not Passion Red. Not a familiar Ralliart design. This is about Dakar, the world's toughest race, and it doesn't get tougher than 1985. 6,390 miles. The most hostile terrain on Earth. The Ténéré Desert crossed twice. 552 teams started. Only 101 finished. The Pajero prototypes finished 1st and 2nd overall. That single result sparked three decades of dominance and 12 Dakar victories for Mitsubishi. This car proved everything. It validated the Pajero concept, forged its reputation for durability and performance, and changed the balance of power. It broke European and American dominance and announced the rise of Japanese off-road engineering. Getting this car here felt like a Dakar of its own. At times exhausting. Often unbelievable. I translated an entire workshop manual just to make it happen. This isn't just a livery. It's history.
