My attention has been brought to a video circulating online of a person with disability being forcefully arrested during peaceful demonstrations in Nakuru. As a person living with disability, I am deeply disturbed by the manner in which the individual was mishandled. Peaceful protests are a constitutional right, and no Kenyan especially one living with disability should be subjected to such indignity and excessive force. I strongly condemn this act. The police are entrusted to protect citizens, not humiliate or harm them. We must uphold the dignity and rights of all people, especially the most vulnerable in our society.a #SiMimiNiSisi #PWDsMatter

For years, the incomplete Kangemi Bridge has caused immense challenges for residents and commuters, even leading to tragic losses. I have continuously pushed for its completion, knowing how critical it is for our people. Work has been ongoing and the visit by His Excellency DR. William Samoei Ruto has helped shine a spotlight on this issue, and his directive to the contractor to complete the bridge within two months will help fast-track the process. This is a significant step and I will keep following up to ensure this commitment is fulfilled! #SiMimiNiSisi
