Just watched the NBA LIVE on Apple Vision Pro in 180° Immersive Video tonight, let’s talk: • The image quality is insane. Easily the best live sports experience I’ve seen in 3D 180 (Apple Immersive Video). • No commercials. Thank you, Spectrum. • 5–7 camera angles, including stanchion cams, high-and-wide, scoreboard, and a moving halftime camera. • Dedicated Vision Pro commentators: it genuinely feels designed for this platform, not adapted from TV. • Instant replays help eliminate dead moments during live play. • You can switch between Spatial Video and full immersive 180 viewing. • Live subtitles and live graphics rendered stereoscopically in 3D. • Visual consistency looks the same on both M2 and M5 Vision Pro. • No commercials… yes, still worth repeating. • This is the best live 3D sports presentation I’ve personally experienced. A few honest notes: • Color could use some refinement. • 90fps really proves why high frame rate is essential for live sports. • Viewers can’t choose camera positions • No SharePlay yet (or I missed it). We also did a full 2-hour live watch-along with play-by-play reactions here: 👉 Curious how others feel about immersive live sports: is this the direction broadcasting is heading? Let’s discuss. #AppleVisionPro #NBA

4DGS volumetric video captured with iPhones. 📱 Until now, capturing 4D Gaussian Splats meant million-dollar studios and fixed camera rigs. Radiant just changed the game - genlock-syncing multiple iPhone 17 Pro Max cameras with Tilta Chronos cage and Blackmagic ProDock into one fully wireless mobile capture rig. Pixel-level sync, frame by frame, real time. Apple Vision Pro native playback? We are working on it. But the capture side? Solved (affordable-ish). And it travels. The next great VolCap film could be coming from someone like you! #4DGS #volumetricvideo

New 8K immersive 3D 180 camera is here, designed with usability and affordability in mind. But how does it really compare to cameras like the Canon R5C, CALF Gen 2, and Canon R7: In this review, we take a closer look at SLAM XCAM 3D VR180 camera real-time HDR playback, wide 190° field of view, and other features that could make it an accessible choice for immersive video. Comment “VR180,” and I’ll DM you a FREE side-by-side comparison video to test on your Meta Quest 3 or Apple Vision Pro. #VR180 #immersivetech #3d180

Meet the Antigravity A1 - the sub-249g 360 drone: that can create Aerial 360 video for Apple Vision Pro! Watch our review here: Top + bottom 360 cameras, smart sensors, an ultra-bright FPV goggle that lets everyone see what you see, and a grip controller that points the drone exactly where you want it. It captures 8K 30fps immersive video with the same image quality as the Insta360 X5. Watch it inside an Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest 3 and you’ll see why I’m excited about where this is going. Comment “Antigravity” and I’ll send you the download link to the full immersive 360 video.

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Spatial Film—an immersive 180° and 360° film app we’ve built: After months of self-teaching Swift and app development, I finally turned my dream of having a platform dedicated to showcasing the highest-quality immersive films into reality. I’m not a developer by trade—I’m an immersive filmmaker—but I wanted a space where our original 3D 180 and 360 films could shine, free from the heavy compression of typical platforms. So, four months ago, I dove into coding, and here we are with version 1! This journey has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding, and I couldn’t have done it alone. My gratitude goes out to the immersive and VR community, our loyal Patreon members, and developers around the world who generously offered advice and encouragement along the way. What makes Spatial Film unique? It’s 100% original content, from immersive films to 360° environments, all crafted to provide an unparalleled experience. Some of you might recognize us as immersive filmmakers and educators on YouTube, where we’ve shared tutorials and inspired countless creators on Meta, Apple, Pico, HTC, and even back in the early YouTube VR days. Now, we’re taking advantage of Vision Pro’s stunning display to bring our work to you in the best quality possible. Our journey with immersive content goes way back—we’ve worked with 12K camera rigs like Jaunt, Google Jump, and Yi Halo, creating wild experiences for brands. But despite our efforts, our films were often stuck on platforms with heavy compression, which limits the quality. Vision Pro changed that for us, but it’s taken a lot of work to adapt. We’re still learning, refining, and working hard to optimize this new pipeline. Our hope with Spatial Film is to champion immersive storytelling on our own terms, without big corporations that might restrict artistic freedom. We’re here to bring you genuine, immersive stories—not influenced by financial projections. This platform is small, just me and a Shiba Inu sidekick named Kimchi, and we plan to keep it that way. No outside investment, no mission drift—just pure, immersive storytelling. And the best part? We’re releasing free films every other week, so you can explore and download our latest releases without a paywall. Every film also comes with its own immersive environment, free of charge. If you’d like to support us, you can subscribe to access the full library for a super affordable price, helping us keep this going as a true “mom-and-pop” shop on VisionOS. Feedback is more than welcome as we continue learning, optimizing, and improving the experience for all of you. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

FreeTimeGS – Free Gaussian Primitives Anywhere, Anytime – has been making waves online over the past two days. You may have already seen it. If not, here’s a great example: a live demo with minimal cleanup and no heavy post-production. What’s remarkable is the simplicity of their setup. This example shows a basic semicircle rig made from smartphones and budget light stands. No complex volumetric or photogrammetry system required—and yet, the result plays smoothly right in a mobile browser. Yes, even on my iPhone. You can also view this on Vision Pro! The next logical step? Let’s bring this into the new Spatial Web standard IEEE IEEE 2874 and make it viewable in Apple Vision Pro, Android XR, and other upcoming headsets via open source XR web browser. Imagine freely flying through AI-powered Gaussian reconstructions directly in spatial environments cross platforms. We’re witnessing a major leap in spatial computing. AI-powered tools like this are reshaping every part of the creative pipeline. Can't wait to see what Apple has to say tomorrow at WWDC 25! Are you ready for it? What use cases excite you most? Drop your thoughts below—let’s discuss.

Blackmagic Design just made a huge announcement at NAB 2025 — revealing their full immersive video workflow from camera to Apple Vision Pro. In this video, we walk through the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive pipeline, from capture in Blackmagic RAW, through DaVinci Resolve, all the way to native immersive playback on Apple Vision Pro using MV-HEVC metadata. We also sat down with Blackmagic Design to discuss the latest URSA Cine Immersive firmware and UIs update, immersive color grading workflows, and a powerful REST API that allows remote camera control — perfect for broadcast and remote Immersive 180 capture environments. Captured live at NAB 2025, this is the first in-depth look at how Blackmagic is setting a new standard for immersive filmmaking, delivering true 8K-per-eye playback with zero baked-in rendering and no double-pass quality loss. Comment “URSA Cine” for the full 30-minute in-depth video. #ursacineimmersive #applevisionpro #visionpro

Apple Immersive Video Utility quietly dropped on the App Store and inside visionOS — right in the middle of the madness that was NAB 2025. And somehow, we were lucky enough to be among one the very first creators to get hands-on review. We tested it using the new Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Immersive camera and the DaVinci Resolve Immersive Build, and… wow. Let me tell you — the video will show you more than words ever could. But to be totally honest? This is the best immersive image quality I’ve ever seen in my entire career. Yes, even better than Apple’s own immersive content on Apple TV. Not exaggerating. No chromatic aberration. No stereo conflict in the corners. Just pure, comfortable 3D depth with insanely sharp resolution — even in close-up scenes. But what really blew my mind is the progressive immersion system. With Apple new Immersive Video Utility, the same video can shift seamlessly between Spatial Video and Immersive 180 — and the control is entirely in the viewer’s hands. Too much immersion? Click a button, and the same content plays in a 16:9 spatial format. Want to go full 180? One tap and you’re back in immersive mode. There’s no longer a divide between Spatial Video and Immersive 180. They’re now different states of the same media — and that changes everything for filmmakers like us! No more dual camera setup. Just ONE Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Immersive Camera you got both outputs for dual purposes. What do you think on the “Progressive Immersion” concept?
