Grandpa buried two jars in 1926. One had $1,000 in paper. One had $1,000 in silver dollars. Unburied today: the paper buys two tires. The silver buys 15 bred heifers and a truck. That's the difference between a medium of exchange and a store of wealth. — we take silver and gold for beef, chicken, lamb, and pork. Call or text 208-714-0478

Tyson just walked away from 400 farms. Families are getting crushed under debt they can’t pay—because a corporate giant lost a lawsuit and bailed. They told farmers six days before Christmas: no more birds. No more paychecks. You’re on your own. We watched it happen from up here at where we’ve done everything possible to stay free from those contracts. No integrator. No middleman. No label we don’t own. Because when the lawsuits come or the market flips, they walk. Families have to live with the rubble. That’s why we’re not just building a brand. We’re building a lifeline that doesn’t collapse when the politics shift. Acme Acres is Food Freedom. We’ll be here when it all collapses. Satoshi Texas Slim™

Hard money doesn’t lie—especially when you’re buying cattle. At we’re watching the old silver-to-cow ratio break wide open. Historically, 2 to 7 ounces of silver could buy a productive cow—from Viking raids to the American frontier. Today? Silver sits around $70. A good bred cow runs $5,000. That’s 70+ ounces for one animal—10× the historical norm. If silver were to realign with history, it’d need to hit $700–$800 an ounce just to buy what one cow buys now. We don’t price our beef in fiat. We accept silver, gold, and Bitcoin because we trust what’s real— Hard assets. Living value. Today, 1 oz of gold gets you a Whole Beef. 70 oz of silver does the same. No bank required. Just a handshake and a freezer.

PALANTIR: The same company that built the architecture for military kill chains overseas just got a $300M sole-source contract to centralize every data point on every American farm through the USDA. No bid and no competition. By 2028, the old systems are gone. What starts as streamlining paperwork ends with algorithms in Washington deciding who gets aid, who gets flagged, and who gets to keep operating. The power isn’t being modernized. It’s being concentrated. And farmers are in the crosshairs now. Satoshi Yanasa TV

Got ourselves a new calf this morning. Mama wanted nothing to do with him. No idea why. She's given us two or three calves before and been a good cow, but today she was done. So we brought him home. He took a bottle. He's been up walking around, alert, breathing good, good size. Just having a tough day with mom. We put him in the calf hutch and let him take it easy. It's hot and smoky out anyway. We'll try taking him back up tomorrow, see if she changes her mind. But if not, we'll bottle him through like we do the others. 68 more to go this week. The clip we’re sharing is from Yanasa TV — and it’s infuriating. Bob’s family has irrigated the same land since 1952. Same ditch. Same crops. Then one day the state draws a line down the middle of the road and says: “North side is legal. South side? That’s a violation.” $121,000 fine. Lien on the farm. Labeled an ‘illegal irrigator.’ Not because he changed anything — but because the parcel ID doesn’t match the map anymore. The soil didn’t change. The water didn’t change. Just the map. That’s not environmental protection. That’s bureaucratic seizure disguised as regulation. This is how they box out legacy farmers — with shifting digital lines and weaponized paperwork. The land is the same, but the rules are rewritten to erase you. Satoshi

They say silver’s $80. But try buying a healthy cow with it. At we watch this play out every day. A good bred cow’s going for $5,000. That’s 60+ ounces of silver. Meanwhile, for most of history, it was 2–7. So either silver’s been devalued… Or the cow’s finally pricing in the truth. And let’s not forget what that ounce used to mean. A full day’s labor. A tenth-ounce was survival. Food. Shelter. Something real. Now? They print digits on a screen and call it a paycheck — while feed, vet bills, and fuel chew through it before sundown. We raise beef you can hold. Trade silver you can weigh. That’s not theory. That’s settlement. If you’re stacking, stacking right, or just waking up to how broken the money is — we’ll be here. With cows on pasture. And the kind of food that holds value when nothing else does. Satoshi Texas Slim™

True grass-fed beef has yellow fat. Beta-carotene from living pasture does that. raises cattle on real grass — the color tells the truth before the label does. The USDA withdrew its grass-fed standard in 2016. "Grass-fed" on a grocery label means whatever the producer says it means. White fat, yellow sticker. That's not a mistake — that's the system working as designed. I've been raising cattle on grass in North Idaho long enough to know the color of real fat. If yours is white and the label says grass-fed, something doesn't add up. Your rancher, Jason Hanley | 208-714-0478

The famine doesn’t start with empty shelves. It starts with a farmer in Kansas applying half the nitrogen he needs because he can’t afford the rest. Multiply that across 70% of American farms. Add Idaho’s 181,000 acre-foot water shortfall. Add the lowest cattle inventory on record. Now tell me why food still feels expensive while the news says inflation’s easing. The pressure is upstream. Most won’t feel it for another 6 to 12 months. That’s why you need to fill your freezers now. I’ve been preparing my herd for your family and we have butcher slots open now. Come summer time that situation changes. Don’t delay because in a few months everything gets more expensive and you can beat the panic buyers now. Give me a call and let’s get you sorted out. I just watched what they did to the King family in Washington, and I couldn’t stop thinking: Yep, here we go again. Seventy years of stewardship — grazing, building ponds, raising cattle — and out of nowhere some agency sends a letter calling it a “wetland violation.” No warnings and no conversation. Just threats, gag orders, and sealed documents. You don’t get to defend yourself. You don’t get to tell your side. Nope— you just get crushed while they say “the science says so.” This ain’t about water or conservation. It’s about power — and they’re testing how far they can push. And if you think they’ll stop with the King Ranch, you haven’t been paying attention. Full video link in the comments below Yanasa TV Satoshi

This man is selling the place he grew up in. Nearly 60 years old, never lived anywhere else, and he feels like a stranger in his own town. At I think about this a lot, because the same outside capital that's pricing locals out of their communities is doing the exact same thing to independent ranchers in the food system. Out-of-state cash buyers flooded the Sun Belt and drove home prices up 70% in five years. The locals who built those communities couldn't compete. The big four meatpackers did the same thing to processing infrastructure, buying up capacity until independent ranchers had nowhere to take their animals without going through someone else's bottleneck. Same mechanism. Different industry. Same result. This man's answer is to sell high and start over somewhere the math still works. That's a legitimate move. But the culture he's mourning doesn't come back once it's gone, and neither does the processing capacity, and neither do the independent ranchers once consolidation finishes the job. I raise beef, pork, lamb, and chicken with no hormones, no antibiotics, and no vaccines, sold straight to you. Every direct sale is a reason for ranchers like me to stay put. Call or text me at 208-714-0478 if you want to buy from someone who's still here. Your rancher, Jason Hanley

Oregon just put 126,000 signatures behind a ballot measure that would make farming a criminal offense. We built for exactly this — direct from rancher to customer, no middleman who folds the minute the legislature comes for his license. IP28 — they call it the "Peace Act" — strips the exemptions that let ranchers, farmers, hunters, and vets do their jobs. Castration, dehorning, artificial insemination? Reclassified as sexual assault. Slaughter for meat? Criminal. Hunting and fishing? Criminal. The only exemption is self-defense. This isn't compassion. Well-managed herds stay healthy because a rancher's livelihood depends on it. Remove that stewardship and you get overpopulation, starvation, disease — actual suffering. And the money behind this? Russian crypto wallets. A Craigslist charitable fund. A substitute teacher from Olympia who dumped $28,000 of his own cash to get those 126,000 signatures. They're openly calling IP28 a test case. What passes in Oregon gets copy-pasted to your state next. Your rancher, Jason Hanley | 208-714-0478 Yanasa TV

"Ground beef patties" — zero fillers, by law. "Beef patties" — drop one word, suddenly TVP, organ meat, and added water are all legal. USDA regulation 9 CFR 319.15. The gap between what the front says and what the back lists is not a quality problem. It's a business model. We're giving away a few pounds of real ground beef to first-time buyers while supplies last. Sign up at and call/text 208-714-0478. Satoshi

Wells contaminated. Barns gone. Pastures washed to bedrock. The farmers and homesteaders who feed Western NC got $3 million out of $225 million in federal relief. The rest? Bureaucratic paperwork, affordable apartment complexes, pet projects. This is what abandoned looks like. Yanasa TV Satoshi

This guy lived in Australia. He’s got friends on the ground and what they’re describing should make you put the phone down and think. I’m sharing this clip because this is exactly what I’ve been warning about here at Ninety percent of Australia’s fuel comes from Asia. No fuel means no delivery trucks. No delivery trucks means empty shelves and people laughing in the grocery store because they don’t know what else to do yet. Cognitive dissonance. Funny until it isn’t. This didn’t happen overnight. They spent years making it harder for the people who actually produce food to survive. Eventually they stop. And when they stop the shelves don’t argue. They just go empty. That’s not bad luck. That’s math. Twelve million people in New York City. Grows nothing. If the trucks stop, forty eight hours and it’s ugly. A full freezer is a plan. A known farmer is a plan. Give me a call if you want to get your family set up before the preview becomes the main event. Your rancher, Jason Hanley | 208-714-0478 @beefinitiative Texas Slim™

THEY DON’T WANT YOU OWNING LAND. Even at half the price per acre, interest rates kill the deal. THE MATH IS OBVIOUS. Meanwhile, SBA loans in TX get funneled through Indian cartels, and our tax dollars fund Somali fraud while American farmers die. THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT!

They’re spreading human waste on farmland… yup. It’s called “biosolids,” and it’s loaded with PFAS — toxic forever chemicals linked to cancer, infertility, and birth defects. Maryland tested it. Every single sample was contaminated. So they banned it. But instead of disposing it, they trucked it to Virginia — where there are no laws stopping it. Just toxic sludge, sold as “sustainable agriculture.” And there’s that word again… sustainable. What a scam! Beef Initiative🇺🇸🇸🇻Beef.com Texas Slim™

$267,000. That’s what Washington state fined a ranching family for cleaning out stock ponds used to water their own livestock. Then canceled their grazing leases on top of it. Washington is one state over from me. This trend spreads and is next. Every rancher in the region is watching this case. The EPA, Department of Ecology, Department of Natural Resources – all coordinating, all federally funded, budgets nearly doubled, targeting rangelands and forestry while driving costs up for every consumer downstream. Democratic members didn’t even show up to the oversight hearing says Yanasa TV This is lawfare against American land owners. When ranchers get squeezed off their land the food supply gets squeezed with them. I have hundreds of butcher slots open across the next 90 days. Pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb and chicken from a rancher who answers his own phone. That window won’t stay open. Call or text and let’s get your freezer stocked. 208-714-0478
