For anyone that still thinks Paul’s rise to power in DUNE is up for interpretation… here’s Denis setting the record straight. He rewrote Chani to basically spoon feed the audience that “Paul is bad” - but it’s quite clear a lot of DUNE fans think he’s still like Luke Skywalker, which just reinforces the ideas the book/movies propose about messianic figures. Denis is still going to have to make Messiah to deal with same issue Herbert had.
