This is excellent. I would really love to see you interview Fincher.

I’ll see what I can do.

You're a natural at this Patrick, great technical questions, Ridley seemed amused. Hopefully you'll keep doing this :D

Awesome! Think you really got him to open up and excitedly talk cinema in ways he normally doesn’t get chance to

The breakdown of Day for Night was super impactful!

I love hearing Scott talk. You also asked some great questions. I’ve always been innately curious about his storyboarding process.

Another great one!

rock n roll buddy, rock n roll!!!! epic bro. delighted for ya and great bloody questions!

U got a cool job man (and well deserved😎)

Fantastic interview, thanks Patrick .... keep thr flame alive...

Good, intelligent questions.

Cinema 🎥 is motion and vocal art.

Dude that was a superb interview with a true master. So nice to see someone who really understands the craft talking with the great man. Bravo.

He’s tough to understand sometimes 😆

You get a lot out of your subjects. Great job.

Fantastic interview, sir.

That was terrific. And he’s making TREASURE ISLAND! 🔥

They can never make me hate him

Excellent interview—Ridley eludes confidence.

@grok.how did Ridley and Tony Scott use the multi-camera set up without it turning into chaos? And would they digitally remove cameras during editing to make it all seamless etc or put them in a way that they're not spotted?

Patrick you’re quickly becoming my favourite interviewer. You ask such thoughtful and well measured questions, especially on the craft of filmmaking, that clearly elevate the occasion. Saw your chat with Tom Cruise too. Keep up the good work sir.

Such a great interview!

Sir Ridley seems to be a nice guy!! Amazing interview

Great interview, man. Too bad the movie is garbage. But I guess one person's trash is another person's treasure. Seriously though - great job. To think you started out as someone who was shy to be on camera and only did voice-over work to talking with Ridley. Incredible work!

Great job Patrick

This is so cool!

Excellent. I do find it curious why he’s so inconsistent of late though when he’s so confident about his films.

Great job!

Yay for the Jordan Cronenweth mention! 🎉

Another classic Ridley interview where he pretty much never answers the actual question. You never know what wild tangents he's going to go off on.

His mum needs to give him a slap sadly

dude on first name nickname basis with Christopher Nolan

Great interview. Give me more of this over boring tabloid red carpet interviews any day! Great to hear the respect for Nolan. Back in 2008, I got to ask Emma Thomas who Chris’ favorite current working director was and she said Ridley
