Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) The way the Bat-Drac morphs into the Rat-Dracs is something else! It comes apart, and the floor fills with rats where the body stood. Oldman wears the grotesque. Coppola made the change with animals and a camera run backwards. Genius.

Possibly the greatest intro to a horror movie. The use of silhouette is amazing.

This still hits harder than most modern cinema. Anna dying in his arms😔😭 The werewolf howl, the moonlight, Jackman’s raw grief, Carl’s silent heartbreak. No speeches, no polish. A wild monster film then drops one of the most honest emotional gut-punches in history.

The use of silhouette in Bram Stoker's Dracula is insane. Blows my mind
