Disgraceful. A young man tries to ask Health Minister of Bihar questions about failure of health department. Instead of answering, minister angrily says: "Did you have an appointment? How can you ask questions? What kind of journalist are you?" He calmly replies: “I’m not a journalist. I’m an ordinary citizen of my district.” That’s the real problem. In Bihar, citizens asking questions are treated as offenders, not stakeholders. If ministers can’t face basic questions from the public, they have no moral right to hold office.

As a railfan, I shot a lot of Shinkansen videos. I accidentally overstayed at the station, but after explaining it to the Station Master, he let me go without any fine. Unlike India, Japan truly respects its railfans. Japan even has a massive railfan market - far bigger and more organised than anything in India.
