Sam Altman reveals why he no longer believes universal basic income is the answer to AI "I used to be really excited about universal basic income, where you just give everybody money. I still am kind of excited about that. But I think people really need agency" "If you just say AI is going to do everything and everybody gets a dividend, it's not going to feel good, and I don't think it would actually be good for people" "I don't just want a check every month. What I'd want is an ownership share in whatever the AI creates, so I feel like I'm participating in this thing that's going to compound and get more valuable over time" "So I sort of like universal basic wealth better than universal basic income"

Sam Altman reveals a legal problem with ChatGPT that nobody thought about even a year ago "People talk about the most personal things in their lives to ChatGPT. Young people especially use it as a therapist, a life coach" "If you talk to a therapist or a lawyer or a doctor about those problems, there's legal privilege for it. We haven't figured that out yet for when you talk to ChatGPT" "If you go talk to ChatGPT about your most sensitive stuff and then there's a lawsuit, we could be required to produce that. I think that's very screwed up" "We should have the same concept of privacy for your conversations with AI that we do with a therapist or a doctor" "No one had to think about that even a year ago. Now I think it's this huge issue"

Plumbing will outlast coding. Welding will outlast desk jobs. Farming will outlast email. Elon Musk: "Anything that isn't physically moving atoms will be eliminated like lightning by AI." He spent 5 minutes explaining why physical work is the last to go: The filter is simple. "Anything that is digital, which is just someone at a computer doing something, AI is going to take over those jobs like lightning." "Coding, anything along those lines. It's going to take over those jobs like lightning." "Just like digital computers took over the job of people doing manual calculations. But much faster." What survives longer? "AI can improve the productivity of humans who build things with their hands or do things with their hands." "Welding. Electrical work. Plumbing. Anything that's physically moving atoms." "Cooking food. Farming. Anything that's physical. Those jobs will exist for a much longer time." The desk jobs go first. "There's just so many desk jobs where really what people are doing is processing email or answering the phone." "Anything that isn't moving atoms. Anything that is not physically doing physical work." "Those jobs will be and are being eliminated by AI at a very rapid pace." Here's where it ends: "Ultimately, working will be optional." "Because you'll have robots plus AI." "In a benign scenario, universal high income. Not just universal basic income. Universal high income." "Meaning anyone can have any products or services that they want." "We'd essentially eliminate poverty." But there's a catch. "There will be a lot of trauma and disruption along the way." "There's a lot of ways this movie can end." "The reason I'm so concerned about AI safety is that one of the possibilities is the Terminator scenario." "It's not 0%."

I gave the same “build me a fully functional Notion-level SaaS workspace” prompt to Marlow, Base44, and Lovable. Base44 → built it, but the result felt more basic, and page-to-page navigation was slower. Lovable → gave me no output on the trial and asked me to add credits. Marlow → built the strongest SaaS of the three, with working interactions, project management, customization, 10 aesthetic themes, and noticeably faster navigation across the generated app. That speed advantage comes from Marlow running the app on your own VM. And it still did all of this on the trial plan. Same prompt. Very different results. See prompt in the comments ↓

Dario Amodei reveals the two convictions that made him leave OpenAI to start Anthropic "The first conviction was the scaling laws" "If you scale up models, give them more data and more compute, you find incredible increases in performance. I was finding that in 2019 with GPT-2" "There were a lot of folks inside and outside who didn't believe it at all. We made the case to leadership, this is going to be a big deal" "The second was, if these models are going to match the capability of the human brain, we better get this right" "Despite a lot of language about doing it in the right way, I was just not convinced there was a real and serious conviction to do it the right way"

I think I’m kinda obsessed with MiniMax Design now One prompt. That’s it. What was I even doing before this? Just a few minutes and one prompt gets you a full retro Japanese travel-poster-style video. MiniMax Design really brings out the best in H3 And no, I’m not exaggerating

Dreamina Seedance 2.5 has officially dropped on Dreamina, the native AI creation hub by ByteDance. 2 massive upgrades that impressed me the most: • Throw in up to 50 multimodal reference assets (images, videos, and audio) in just one single generation. • Generate up to 30-second continuous video outputs for deeper, much more seamless storytelling. When you pair these capabilities with Dreamina's native editing workflow, multilingual support, and the broader Seedance ecosystem, we are looking at a serious leap toward actual production-grade AI video. For anyone looking to build on top of Seedance, Dreamina is my go-to recommendation right now. It houses the complete Seedance lineup, ranging from Seedance 2.0 Mini up to Seedance 2.5, offering creator-friendly pricing and standing out as one of the most cost-effective official routes to test, tweak, and scale your production. Less friction switching between tools. More focus on actual creation. #Dreamina #Seedance25 #AIVideo #ByteDance

🚨 SHOCKING: Seedance 2.5 just raised the bar for AI video. I tested the exact same prompts on Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 2.5 delivers longer 30-second scenes, cleaner motion, more realistic lighting, and much stronger character consistency. Here is the breakdown (with examples)🧵:

I found a skill that turns Claude into an AI ad creative maker. It’s called Goose Ads by Gooseworks, and it works directly inside Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, or Codex. You can now create ad creatives for your brand with one command. How it works: → Install Gooseworks npx gooseworks install --all → Run this prompt /goose-ads create ads for my brand → Optional Pick templates you like on the platform Goose Ads finds creatives that companies are already spending money on, studies what is working, and generates new ad creatives for your brand. It also keeps everything aligned with your website, messaging, logo, assets, and positioning, so the final output feels brand-ready instead of generic. And this is bigger than one ad skill. Gooseworks has 100+ open-source growth skills for ads, content, competitor research, GTM, SEO, lead generation, and more. Claude is slowly becoming more than a chatbot. It is becoming a growth operator. Comment 'Goose' and I’ll DM you the full open-source skill library.

The average Shopify store loses 1-2% of Black Friday Cyber Monday revenue to chargebacks. For a $500K weekend, that's $10K you'll never see again. You’ll see your biggest revenue spike in November → and wake up in January to refund abuse, chargebacks, and “friendly fraud” wiping out your profits. It’s not always hackers. Sometimes it’s your own customers clicking “dispute” instead of “return.” That’s digital shoplifting. Chargeflow is the world’s first fully automated chargeback and fraud prevention platform → trusted by 15,000+ merchants worldwide. It uses AI and real merchant data to stop fraud before it happens → and recover lost revenue automatically when it does. While most tools stop at payment detection → Chargeflow protects what happens after the transaction too. The result → up to 90% fraud reduction, less than 0.1% false positives, and millions recovered for eCommerce brands. And for BFCM 2025 → they’re giving away something huge: → $10,000 in FREE Chargeback Automation credits. → Chargeflow Prevent FREE until December 31st, 2025. This is the only time of year merchants can protect their entire BFCM season at zero cost. Sell more → stress less → and let Chargeflow handle the chaos that comes after the sales rush.
