Thanks to everyone that joined us for #FordAccelerate this year! There were so many inspiring conversations about how we can work together to support skilled trades workers and help the next generation pursue these skills and develop their own careers as part of the #EssentialEconomy. If you missed the livestream, you can catch up and watch the event on From the Road here: #Accelerate2026 #SkilledTrades

America needs people who know how to build things, fix things and make things work. Electricians. Technicians. Welders. Plumbers. Construction workers. Manufacturing experts. These careers matter. The people who do them matter. And America’s future depends on them. America is currently facing a skilled trades crisis: an estimated 2.1 million positions could go unfilled by 2030. Meanwhile, many young adults are unaware of how to pursue these careers. The issue isn’t a lack of demand or opportunity. It’s making sure the next generation knows where those opportunities are and how to get started. That’s why Ford Motor Company is proud to be a founding partner in a new Ad Council effort with Dycom, The The Home Depot and the Wallace Foundation to help more young people understand the opportunities available in the trades. There are incredible careers available for people who want to work with their hands, solve real problems and build things that matter. We need these skills to build the future of America. And we need to do a much better job showing young people what’s possible. That’s my hope for this new campaign… to make these careers easier to see and easier to pursue. Derrick Feldman, Managing Director at Ad Council Research Institute, wrote more about the launch of this campaign today on From the Road: #EssentialEconomy #FordAccelerate #Accelerate2026 #SkilledTrades

This story represents so much of what community means to Ford Motor Company and Carhartt, two brands with over 250 years of shared Detroit heritage. The ball field at Belle Isle hadn't been renovated since the 90s, and with a dozen local orgs depending on it for sports and events, we knew we could help in a meaningful way. Volunteers from both companies put in weeks of work alongside a construction crew and together gave the field a much needed upgrade. We celebrated the new field with a community event and a reveal of the new Ford F-150 Carhartt truck. Thank you to all the volunteers for such an impactful initiative that will benefit generations of kids and families to come!

Today, Ford Motor Company announced we're investing $1 billion for a new state-of-the-art paint shop at Kentucky Truck Plant. This investment builds on our other recent investments across Kentucky -- approximately $2 billion to transform Ford's Louisville Assembly Plant for our new Universal Electric Vehicle Platform and approximately $2 billion at Ford Energy Systems in Glendale, which will manufacture battery energy storage systems. For more than a century, Ford and Kentucky have grown together, and we’re proud to be Kentucky’s largest auto manufacturer, with more than 11,500 employees. These investments demonstrates our confidence in Kentucky’s workforce, our commitment to American manufacturing, and our belief that the future of mobility and energy will be built right here in the United States. More on these investments here:

Louisville Assembly Plant is about to make history. This 3-million-square-foot facility is being completely transformed to build our new midsize electric truck, the Ford Fathom. Crews are installing our new Universal EV Production System, reinventing how we build vehicles from the ground up using the expertise of our team at Ford Motor Company to deliver. We're on track to begin Fathom prototype builds with production qualified parts in Q1 2027. Speed, scale, and manufacturing know-how, that's Ford at its best. See the progress here:

During a visit to Michigan Assembly Plant, I met Kevin Ewald who’s been with Ford Motor Company for 31 years! As a driver, he plays an essential role in doing quality checks on vehicles before they’re shipped to customers. Kevin, thank you for your dedication to the job and for exemplifying our quality-first mindset every day. #WeAreFord

No surprise charging can be a challenge, but still learning a lot seeing firsthand the issues our customers face. This is why we’re working w/ Tesla to provide Ford Motor Company drivers access to +12,000 superchargers & our EV certified dealers are installing fast chargers at their dealerships. Will help us improve the EV experience for our customers.

With onXmaps every kind of off-roader, from first-timers to experienced drivers like Chase Gentry & Caziah Franklin, can feel more confident driving off-road. Chase & Caziah recently took the Bronco Badlands to East Tennessee to tackle boulders & water crossings, using OnX to check trail conditions & navigation. Full video on YouTube:

When we said 'game on' we meant it! Congrats to our Ford Mustang GTD team for setting a new record lap time around the Nürburgring! With the new Mustang GTD Competition, the team shaved more than 11 seconds off our previous lap time - 6:40:835! This lap was driven once again by Ford Racing and Multimatic factory driver Dirk Müller Racing, but Ford Racing engineer Steve Thompson also drove a lap to a time of 6:49.337 around the ring – which faster than Müller’s original record. Congrats to Dirk and Steve for showing just what the Mustang GTD Competition can do! NOTE: The Mustang GTD Competition will be offered in the future as a special edition, street legal model available in strictly limited, serialized quantities.

My fave moment of my time on the road has been experiencing the community of EV drivers at charging stops. I've seen strangers say hello & help someone w/ charging or just talk about their vehicles. Some even give gifts, like Liv Leigh🏴☠️ who gives what she calls "fancy ponies" to her fellow #MustangMachE drivers.
