I am concerned about a low turnout in today’s election. It took centuries of campaigning to secure our democratic right to vote so it’s important you exercise that right today and vote. No matter what the polls say an election is not over until the votes are counted.

20 years ago I set up a local group to create a local park in centre of Hayes & Scott Dick f of Hayes Hawks joined to build a BMX I visited a regional race session at park with so many competitors of all ages enjoying the races.Well done all the volunteers

This was a beautiful wildlife area in village of Longford. It was put up for auction & local residents who wanted to preserve the natural environment were outbid. The owners are now ripping out the trees and destroying habitat. May be legal but is morally repugnant. Shame on them

I raised again the need to establish a scheme to evacuate seriously injured Palestinian children from Gaza for treatment in our country. We introduced a scheme for Ukrainian children & to extend that scheme to children from Gaza would be a small but important act of humanity.
