The first yearlings by Bouttemont will sell at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale in the next two days. Four of his progeny are in the sale and are all worth seeing, but IMO this colt out of the Group 3 winner Lady Wingshot is up there with the nicer types in the entire sale.

Many have concluded that the Cesarewitch winner will definitely be disqualified, but have a close look at this. I think the 10th and final use of the whip might well have missed the horse and if so, it won’t be counted. It’s certainly worth a close look with better quality pics.

I was at a progress report event at Tipperary Racecourse yesterday and was absolutely blown away by how much work has been done on the new all-weather track and existing turf track in just a few months. This will be as good as any all-weather track anywhere. Huge for Irish racing.
