I was at a progress report event at Tipperary Racecourse yesterday and was absolutely blown away by how much work has been done on the new all-weather track and existing turf track in just a few months. This will be as good as any all-weather track anywhere. Huge for Irish racing.

Many have concluded that the Cesarewitch winner will definitely be disqualified, but have a close look at this. I think the 10th and final use of the whip might well have missed the horse and if so, it won’t be counted. It’s certainly worth a close look with better quality pics.

This morning my father Willie sent this video and commentary into the farm WhatsApp group. It was completely out of the blue, I wasn’t even sure he knew how to use the camera on his phone (!), but it stopped me in my tracks.
