This reminds me when I was at this Airbnb pool in Santo Domingo, DR. A Haitian-🇺🇸 & a Black-🇺🇸 tourists were speaking to me, saying how astonishing they were that DR was very economically advanced compare to Haiti. How there were Louis Vuitton & Rolex stores which according to them was “surprising”. I could see the sadness & inferiority complex in the face of the Haitian guy.

For over 2 decades Black Americans have been attacking, harassing & mocking Dominicans for no embracing a “Black African” identity. Blacks🇺🇸 wanted Dominicans a Mixed Latin society to mostly embrace their smaller average 35% Afro DNA instead of their majority 58% European/Spanish ancestry and no to even mention their average 7% Taino-Native ancestry. Dominicans had 2 simple choices: 1. Embrace a Black identity and look like Haiti(Vodou Shithole) next door. Or 2. I have noticed a new trend among Haitians where they try hard to sow division among Dominicans, believing that Dominicans have the same American/Haitian racial framework, where people of different races don’t get along. For you Haitians to create racial divisions among Dominicans, you would need to create racial consciousness among Dominicans, which clearly doesn’t exist since Dominicans don’t identify by race or color.
