Finished my first caffeine project on #ICP, a "simple" membership management system. For fun.. the last prompt I asked Caffeine to add 10 more features and to dazzle and to surprise me. And .. I got a lot of features back! 😂 Haven't tried half of the stuff yet:

Caffeine just leveled UP! 🚀 Build an Art Deco team page based on a sloppy wireframe, a downloaded style reference, and a bunch of photos! 🎉 New feature: Multimodal support means you can upload more than one image (or other data) at a time. Caffeine will interpret the images together with your prompt. You now get much better control over the end result (without having to be a designer).

NPM hosts 3.1 million packages. Now, ALL those packages are available to your Caffeine app! 🤯 In this vid I replace the default text editor with the super nice Editor.js package.

VetKeys is one of the coolest upcoming #ICP features! In short, vetKeys allows smart contracts to hold secrets, which is.. a pretty big thing! Check out my demo allowing Ethereum users to send encrypted files to each other! 👀 Live demo:

Goodbye Win 95 theme, hello Liquid Glass(ish)! One-shotted a complete UI transformation of my first caffeine demo app. Recorded the prompt, had a shower, came back and it was done! Key takeaways: 💡 Working with AI means the cost of changing your mind approaches zero. Wake up with a radically different idea about how your #ICP app should look? Just tell the machine. 💡 No need to be a prompt engineer, just be expressive! The machine is no mind reader, just provide enough detail for it to be able to do good job. Sharing the full prompt in the replies.

Waiting for Caffeine? Don't sleep on other major #ICP features being released. VetKeys are coming! Securely create cryptographic keys without exposing private keys. 🚀 This is big! I updated the showcase app to demo what it is about. Unlocks: 💥 Store secrets onchain 💥 Send encrypted messages 💥 MEV protection 💥 Secret bid auctions 💥 Secure voting .. and much more

I promised a longer video on how to build a full-stack ICP app, powered by SQLite. Here it is! This is a nose to tail walkthrough, we look at database migrations, automatic input validation, DTO objects, performant frontend queries using Tanstack Query and lots more. Links to demo app, libraries and YT video in the responses. 🌱
